    Hi @Micasense when I try and apply the filtered layer using sieve and a threshold of 5 I just get a white box with a black border. The entire area where the fine filtered area is just turns to a white block. I have copied your methods completely and tried it a number of times. Any idea why it is doing this. QGIS vs 2.4.1

  • @MicaSense

    We have not done any testing with the camera facing the horizon, but as long as you are about 30 meters away from the cliff face, this should work. This bigger issue would be planning the flight. Please contact our support team if you have more questions.

    Hi there. How to save all 5 bands without calculate the indices? I tried many times but the once I load the image to Ecognition or ENVI, the image appeared completely black.

  • @MicaSense
    @MicaSense2 жыл бұрын

    You just need to "export orthomosaic" and be sure to have "Raster Transform" set to "None". See more in the guide for your specific camera here: support.micasense.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002693373-Process-MicaSense-sensor-data-in-Agisoft-Metashape Keep in mind that each band will appear greyscale unless you do a multiband color/singleband pseudocolor view in your GIS.

    Hi, in the video it says there is a link in the description for the 10 dual camera processing, however, this is not present. Where could this be found please? I am struggling to process images from the dual camera, with georeferencing being particularly difficult as Pix4D doesn't seem to be picking up the GCPs in the dual camera images.

    Hi friends, I'm using a MicaSense Altum sensor with DJI SkyPort on an Inspire 1. The installation of the sensor on the drone was very easy and it's ok. But I have two configuration questions before performing the first mapping flight: 1) Can I only activate the thermal sensor for mapping? 2) Can I see the sensor image and take pictures manually without being on an autonomous mapping flight? Unfortunately, there is little information on the internet, and in the material that came with the sensor (including the manual), about configuring the sensor in different mapping APPs (pix4d, dji pilot...). I have experience with Parrot's sequoia sensor and the configuration interface was much friendlier.

  • @MicaSense
    @MicaSense2 жыл бұрын

    Hi Leandro and thanks for your message! To give you a quick answer, no, the thermal sensor cannot be used separately, and yes, there is a manual mode you can activate. To better assist you we recommend you contact our support team at [email protected].

  • @MicaSense

    @@MicaSense Actually that formula was not used to compute OSAVI in this demo. Only (NIR - R)/(NIR + R) was used.

    I'm curious about the reflectance map outputs (individual tiles vs. merged). In the tutorial you processed an individual tile for each band, transformed each tile to a VRT file and then merged them together. In Pix4D there is a processing option (in Step 3) where you can choose to create a Reflectance Map GeoTIFF and then you can choose the 'Merge Tiles' option. Does this merge tiles option do the same thing as the tutorial VRT/manual merge approach? If not, what is the difference between these two approaches, and why would you use one over the other?
