    Any idea where that drains to, is it like to rust wherever it drains?

    My poor Jetta got the ugliest ceiling ever right now. Leaked in the front and caused the headliner to sag next to and under the driver side sunvisor, and then it started leaking in the back immediately after in my rear passenger area between the window and the back windshield. 2 saggy headliners overnight 🤧🤧

    It looks so simple. I'm going to have to hire someone to do this because (1) the cap at the end of the hose won't remove no matter how much/hard I twist and/or pull. (2) The filter cover just spins when turned counter-clockwise. It makes a clicking noise. It doesn't come off.

    Two helpful points... You don't need to actually have the vehicle running to position the wiper for access. Just turn the key to "accessory", turn on your rear wiper and turn the key off when the wiper is positioned where you want it. Also, maintain positive control of the wiper arm when you are removing the blade. The arm is spring loaded with metal at the very end. If you let that spring slam the arm without the blade into your window, you could possibly crack or shatter the glass.

    I haven't had that issue, it may need a tune up. I've also had good luck using these additives in other small engines with carb or fuel trouble. Here's the links Mechanic In A Bottle: amzn.to/3zSysY2 and VP Fix It Fuel: amzn.to/3WxVRXD *Amazon Affiliate Links* Let us know if you try these and they help out!

    Sorry, the holes were at the front of the sunroof? I thought there’s usually two to the front (drain front of the car) and two in the back that drain behind the wheel well. I know my left driver is clogged because I had water around and down my ceiling back there. I cleaned it from underneath but need to get in from the top. I wasn’t sure if you meant the front holes drain into the back?

  • @5MinuteFixit
    @5MinuteFixit9 күн бұрын

    My sunroof only has the two front holes and they drain to just behind the front wheels. Hopefully this helps! Thank you for watching! Please consider giving the video a thumbs up if you haven't already! Thank You!
