  The one from 0:48 with George C. Scott as General Patton slapping the soldier for being traumatized by the shelling actually isn't funny. Patton got into A LOT of trouble for this. Eisenhower temporarily removed him from command, privately reprimanded Patton, and made him publicly apologize to the soldier.
