What was that sound at the end
Nope. You do NOT keep it in high mode most of the time on trails. At least not the trails I ride. It’s not that simple. It’s NOT just like a car. Terrible advise.
does your machine sound like this when cold starting? kzread.info/dash/bejne/hKB1mLltaayrodI.html
no0t really your video is labeled for kids so no comments allowed odd thing what was wrong with it timing chain tensioner ? or ?
That's poloris rzr 1000
Bet you I drive something you don't need license on.
You didn’t mention this is the sport shift, there is also a 3- pedal clutch car.
Are there any Offroad trails other than this in the areas?
🙄 'promo sm'
what model is this one
Those machines are not really suitable for technical rides. They are probably good in open terrain but not much else.
Ya not a crawler mine is for dunes and going like crazy these things are like sports cars on dirt .
There is a company that makes a trans mission for rock crawling you flip a switch and now all your gear are reduced 3to1 even reverse then with a flip of a switch you have your stock high speed range back they call it a rock box or a crawl box
... But do you know any 4 stroke snowmobile that has a recoil starter ? I only know 2 models of snowmobiles with a 4 stroke engine and a recoil starter, YAMAHA Snoscoot 200 and Polaris frontier 800 And i always wondered why 4 strokes snowmobiles are so rare especially before the 1990s and why 2 stroke snowmobiles have always a pull starter and sometimes an Electric starter while 4 strokes have only an electric starter and very rarely a pull starter ?
It’s harder to pull over a 4 stroke that’s all I think. If you pull over a 2 stroke and 4 stroke snowmobile with the same length of recoil and rope or whatever then your getting double the revolutions on the two stroke as you are on the 4 stroke. I think that’s why but might not be 🤷
How are they in conditions you need four wheel drive, like mud, deep snow, etc?
If you are sticking to the trails and avoiding mud pits the YXZ is an awesome machine. If you are an adventurous type that likes to find out whether you can make it, the YXZ is not a great option. The throttle is sensitive and this leads to a whiplash type of experience when on and off the pedal. If it were me I would rather use a belt driven machine and bring some extra belts. That being said, moving the radiator to the back of the machine basically removes the overheating issue that the original YXZ machines had, which is a great improvement.
Is that an RMAX parked in front of the YXZ?
Sorry no, it is a 2019 Polaris GENERAL Deluxe with a subwoofer, a stage two clutch, windscreens, and 5,000 miles. Still available for $18,990!
How you doing?. excellent ~fellow~ ✨
Well
people don't ride these things out west.
Thanks, Tim! I appreciate the engagement. Would this be a good choice if you ride mostly in Wisconsin with the occasional trip to the mountains? Ski-Doo advertises it as a crossover but if it isn't mountain capable I'll stop telling people that.
