This is honestly such an amazing tool LOL.. I mean its like magic. Imagine your buddy passes out... ohhh boy.
It is a really cool tool!
No blocking between floor gurders ? No plumbing under floor ?
On this floor the joist span is short so blocking in-between isn't needed. For the plumbing it was all put in once the house was up and dried in, so under the floor is all the water lines and drain pipes
is it a perment print
It is semi permanent, it won't rub off and it's very hard to wash off
👏👏👏
Thanks!
Wow!
Thanks!

Hello! Thanks for watching
ha! imagine if it only took 30 mins, well done on the project
Thanks! I wish it took 30 min but seven months wasn't too bad.
What about waterproofing the foundation? Just backfilling it without waterproofing?
With the climate so dry here waterproofing isn't really needed, and we installed gutters to keep the little moisture we do get away from the foundation.
Ben moi.j aime assez mais si vous voulez venez m aider ici il à moins de pluie 😂

Great work by all, why was the tree at the front not cut down or trim the branch that's hanging over the roof off?
@christinawarbrooke213 it was the largest and oldest tree on the property and there were many times it was in the way but we wanted to leave it to hide the house from view of the street
Nice job, Thanks for the Information.

How are you attaching those wood support beams to the concrete pillars underneath? And how do you know how many you need to support the floor/house?
Hey good question! The support beams are not attached to the concrete at all, only to the wood girders. The supports are held in place by friction, and the weight of the house, once the house is complete the supports are locked solid in place. To know how many supports to use, it was shown on my foundation plans. I let the engineers calculate that part.
@@slothconstruction That's for the info! Is there a special kind of company for foundation plans or do you just go to a contractor?
@@LabSkaterPussies I got my plans from a online house plan website and all plans come with foundation plans. If you had your own house plans you could send them to an engineering company and they could create a foundation plan based on your plans.
That is a long list! Love the “painter’s dilemma “, funny!
Haha, yeah, it was an exhausting dilemma
Super ❤
Thanks!
What part of the country this site is located in?
Southern Colorado
Thank you.
Your lucky you didn't have more blow outs not enough 2×4's and using USB like that. I love using USB plywood. Cheap and I think the finish of the foundation comes out beautiful. Spraying a little Diesel inside the forms helps that. In 30 year's doing it like that never gave me a problem or any blow outs at all. When poring the cement I give little tap's on the form's and the face of it bringing the cream out gives it a smooth look and the color stay's consistent throughout the entire wall. Good job it looks good clean to me.👍
Thank you. I wish I could put your comment in the video, you have some great tips. If I did it again I would use much more 2x4's for support, i got lucky and didn't have many problems. It was a really nice finish when the osb came off and a little diesel on the forms would have been good, I agree. Thanks!
@@slothconstruction Nice. Good thing only that one blow out. Keep up the good work and you'll be just ok. Thanks to you.
Great video! The house is really coming along. Love the cabinets, are you going to paint them?❤
Thanks! The cabinets are prefinished . They are a eggshell finish
great video, I'm planning to build something very similar this summer. Where did you get you plans?
Thanks you! The plans came from eplans.com this house is called Truoba Mini 219
Thanks!
How would you get underneath your house, if you have to fix something like plumbing?
Hey, great question! The house has a utility room with the water heater and electrical panel, and in that room there is a 2x2 panel in the floor that can be lifted so someone can go under the house if needed.
