I’m considering an R8 I’m not loaded by any means but could by a nice 18 plate for about 70/80K but been told service wise is very expensive & parts if things brake are extremely expensive,iv got my mate who’d do a lot of work at mates rates & servicing the car but as a hole iv been told it’s expensive to maintain,my other concern is,selling it on when i feel like a change or upgrade,are people still buying these,what’s best colour most like because imo some cars in red IMO are harder to cell than say one in blue or gun metal grey
I’ve got an ara blue one, pretty much same as in this video. I’m not loaded either, I’m 35 and earn about £65k/year. It cost me £85k a year ago. The prices have settled down and have even started to creep back up after they stopped selling R8’s new a couple months back, now is a good time to buy a gen2 imo. I don’t agree with a few things in the video, B&O is crap in these, I put a focal system in for about £1k and it’s so much better. Mines also completely standard (although optional extra sports exhaust) and that’s more than enough. I really don’t like the black badging this guys done, I’d leave it standard silver. I use it as my ‘daily’ although probably only once or twice a week, mostly I work from home. Servicing is the cheapest of any super car, a service is £400 ish at a good Indy. Every 4 years you have a bigger one at like £1500. Parts wise, same as any other car, I’d advise getting Audi approved warranty like I’ve got but never had to use, they are pretty bomb proof. Buy one :)

I can almost feel the pain of the owner; hope it can be fixed. I am picking up my GR Yaris next Spring. Semi-slicks are tricky on public roads; I had Cups2 on my BRZ. They were great on dry tarmac, not so great on greasy roads.
It will never be the same after that you should have the body/frame alignment checked it's amazing how much unseen damage an impact put through the body you will be able to get a wheel alignment done but that's not to say the car is straight
Hopefully all those extra welds and adhesive help.

How about a sneak peak into the cars? Like a before and after kind of flex.
A couple that I think would be cool to see are - 1. A break down of the services you offer. 2. I saw race car builds on the website. Would be awesome to see that process and maybe even see how the car did on the race track almost like a before and after sort of thing.
