Something about this song makes me happy every time I hear it😂
did you say late October 1967? Hmmm.....i'd been wanting to pinpoint that. I am told that close of 1967 was the end for local (chicago area) bands to get a breakthrough on WLS radio airplay. After that no new ones were permitted by the front office, (only established buckinghams, NC6, etc.). So the Family packed up and headed (with Bobby Whiteside) to west coast and metamorphosed into Raintree
I was 15 then attending a ballroom party when this song was my first dance with one of my suitors what a memorable song i can't forget this
Edhit Piaf y después.. Mina. O... Es al revés? Qué maravillas...

Sensacional, tem alguns idiotas que acham que Anita, Jojo todinho e outras merdas são cantores kkkkkkk
First time I heard this catchy tune was back in the mid 80's. I was a big Cheech and Chong fan back then and they had a popular skit called 'Santa Claus and his old lady'. I was listening to cheech and chong records at my friends house and Cheech sings some lyrics from Donde Esta Santa and my friend says something like "You know thats a real spanish x-mas song" and then left the room and came back in with one of those small looking records and it had Donde Esta Santa Claus by 12 year old Augie Rios. I thought it was great and would bug him to play the song every time I was over at his house. For years and years I forgot about it until one day I was watching Narcos (Season 2, Brilliant show) and the song actually played in one of the eps and the nostalgia that flooded through my body was so powerful I was almost in tears.
I'll drink to this.

La, música, más, hermosa 😂❤
I never heard of her, and I've been playing drums for 50-plus years. Great player. Love the warped cymbals and big drum kit. Band is outstanding. Thank you for the post--people like this should never be forgotten.
Top top top
Seu madruga carregando o saco de terra rsrsrs Ep da anona chirimoia

Amazing artist Ty Paul
Awesome song reminds me of my boyfriend
Anyway, to break the fervent doo-wop enthusiast rule of having absolutely no regard for the musicians, that's Mickey Baker on guitar; Kelly Owens on piano; Lee Stanfield on bass; and Marty Wilson on drums. Damn, now you're stuck knowing. . .
There are more than eight million stories in dark city, and this is one of them.
She was 51. This was from 1989. Now she is 86.
Excellente version par Petula Clark. La nuit n'en finit pas.
The original and best version of this song. A lot of people think George Strait (not a favourite of mine) did this first - Terry Stafford not only did it first but sang it way better and it comes across as not unlike something either Charlie Rich or Elvis would have done in Terry's hands whereas Strait just sounds modern country.

Stellar! Timeless! Such a whimsical & innocent song, but so complex & profound; all performed brilliantly!! Old School Rocks 😎
Heard the Johnny Cash version, but really loving this!
Awesome Recording! Awesome Song!
missing fiddle great song
thanks for this song thanks paul alexander fraser
American accent wow!
I am VERY old. I have heard this song all my life. My dad and his brother used to sing it back in the 40's. This version and performance are REALLY good. Excellent job of getting the sound just right on such a classic Cajun tune!
Craig if you want it, I can email The Paegans 45 Year Reunion from August 2014. Songs from 1966 to 1968 including Good Day Sunshine, 4 original members plus two. I don't know how to post on KZread or I would have by now. Video is in a smaller format because of length. Let me know if you want it sent.
Thank you for the offer, I would love a copy. If you find the B-Side to the original 1967 single Good Day Sunshine that would be great. Do you have a Facebook Page where I could send you privately the email and can talk about giving you some musical treasures in return. Your kindness is appreciated.
Such beautiful horses, and Dean Martin is a wonderful Classical horseman.
Anyone in 2024? Here because of Devil ALL the time
Haven’t heard this in years I love it
What an intriguing ensemble. With a drum set that looks coming out of some space odyssey Buck Rogers set and a maestro as eloquent as a zebra kicking a lion out of her back
Thank you for the B-Side. Can you please upload the A-Side cover of The Beatles- Good Day Sunshine?

Wonderful. Ms. Carroll, however clearly didn't learn her band conducting style at Ohio State University...
Jackie claims she helped write this and never got credit.
Jelly Roll
Love all of his music; started with Cajun since it was my first language; grew up listening to him! Thanks for posting!
I loved Oh Julie but this was on their album and though all the songs were great this became my favorite. Great harmony
