How did you get your vehicles to the island?
You guys are idiots……. That’s why I’m subscribing!!!
I saw your rig on I-80 EB tonight between the Lightstreet and Berwick exits. Awesome vehicle!
O that’s what’s up !!! We were heading in to the Catskills for so camping and wheeling !!!
Where did you get the bar above your dash?
lets look at what you dont see lol...he took it apart first and cleaned everything up put it back together and then made this videoi...there isnt even dirt less loan rust on anything not even a thread lol...thats why he makes it look so easy lol...tell me im wrong...
Haha I’m not exactly sure what you’re talking about but I rewatched the video again (since we made this video a couple years ago) are you talking about the brake caliper bolts? I don’t remember exactly but it may have been a bad first take and we just put it back in to film showing taking it out. I honestly don’t remember, but I can assure you nothing was taking out and cleaned to make it look easy. If there’s a part you’re having trouble with let me know and I’ll try to give ya some ideas on how to remedy it.
This video also works for TJ wranglers in Australia 🙂
Got some of the best over landing videos on here keep it coming
O thanks man !!!! With all the content out there that’s a hell over compliment we are looking to do more and more and better and better videos just takes time lots of time !!🎉
Awesome video, I suggest an easier way to undo the driveshaft from the transfer case. This does make it easier. kzread.info/dash/bejne/pqiVrq-zlaerhZM.htmlsi=kOQuxRELTUNSUwuG
What happened your hand? Hope it will be ok.😢
Well, the hand was a crazy story in a nutshell. What occurred was I was taking part a wheel bearing on a truck and the case exploded and a piece of metal went into my hand and I actually had to have full on surgery to get it out!!!! fortunately it went well and I was able to continue on
Its called "shell banks", the place with all the shells. We did this in vehicles like that on the mainland coast of Mexico back in the 80s, looking for surf spots in Michoacan and Colima. The spot your camping is Mitchel's cut. Cool trip, my home beach.
Thanks for the info!
Its about damn time 😂😂
Hahah yeah some time is usually pretty low production, but high in the building of content!! We have no shortage of content to edit just takes time! Lots and lots of time
@@henryitsdeza5553 excuses cost MREs (-1)
@@ironvalorapparelcompanytell that to jesse lol he is the meat and potato!
I'm actually doing the same swap in my YJ, do you have any pointers?
Did you upgrade the cables when you upgraded your alternator?
Nope. And haven’t had any problems with it either!
First video I've ever watched of yours, definitely subscribed now.
Welcome aboard!
Does it work on a campfire.?
Very clear explanation, thanks. Also the Lager is a critical part of the lubrication system. 🙂
saw you in pitt
Where at ? I went through there not too long ago actually was I driving the Hilux truck?
@@henryitsdeza5553 yep i think near ralphes army store with a sheetz near by, all i know is that i saw itsDeza on the back xD
@@Billgatespantheryup that was us !!
NICEE glad i saw you !
I just did this swap and needing help lol.
What ecm did you use
A Shorty would look great on a Copart Jeep Gladiator but I don't know... Don't know anything about Jeeps, I remember having to jump on the hood of my Sons rig because it almost rolled over & hearing him complain about repairs on them... & then there's the engine power... Wish someone wrote a book on the topic
Oh, I’m sure the information is out there. Jeeps are funny. They are a ton of fun and they’re super unique. They do have their reliability issues, but to be honest the newer Toyotas have been suffering a good bit. Jesse‘s Tacoma is always under the knife. they’re a lot more comfortable, but they sure ain’t as capable.
Best video ever
Hahaha
Just took a picture of your Hilux, Jeep and your camper outside of your house! Nice trucks dude! 🤟
🎉 thanks man !! We love to build them and use them I personally love the research and development part of the projects.
Just saw your Toyota! Took a picture of it 😂
This is so awesome 🔥
Awesome update!!! Nice work!
Thanks man would work isn’t exactly my specialty. I’m more like metal but I must say it sure a heck of a lot easier to put together. Everything can fit to the quarter inch and it just works. Hahah😂
Sweet
I think you lost too much sheer strength in the wall. The frame around the window wall should be built with fiberglass over wood for max strength. 2 cents given.
I appreciate your two cents. A lot of people wouldn’t even consider that you are absolutely correct. What I did when I was building. It was reinforce it on the inside. Something fierce because you lose a lot of strength with a window that big.
Good job fellow overlander... I like the part when you said.."I made it, because I couldn't afford it" that's the gold. All these rich hipsters out throwing everything in the cart and showboating around town with brand new untarnished gear. Us tinkering troops are keeping fresh and practical.
Thank you!! Hahaha that’s the truth! Also there’s so much stuff out there that’s “for looks” and the quality is just trash!! Looks cool in the parking lot but the minute your out actually using it, it fails!
QUESTION: have you experienced any issues with the camper box flexing against the Lexus body? I am looking into doing something similar with an old 40 series Land Cruiser pickup, but building the camper box. Trying to determine whether to attach the camper to the cab, or keep it separate---due to the flexing issue.
thanks for the video! I live in ohio and I want to go on trails more often
Are you going to Overland Expo west?
Hopefully we will go to a couple expos in the future for sure
Since you have a Kansas sticker... you should probably come out this way and take it to Tuttle Creek OHV
Oh geez, I don’t know how that thing was doing off road park! It’s a bit top-heavy😂
Just watched the whole series! amazing build!
Thanks, man!!
It's coming along nicely!!!
Looks so good
Thanks for sharing.
Your welcome!
Great project! Really coming together! You’re a very good instructor, and I’m learning so much! Thank you!
Thanks! Glad you’re learning from this!!!
That’s AWSOME ! Thanks man ! It’s hard but fun !!!
Just saw you today in traffic on 35 heading south and damn your rig looks good! Thing is so cool
Thanks!
Dude I 35 was a 24 hour Lamman you guys drive so fast down here lol
Hey I seen you at the love's right off i-70 and I got to say the build looks great
I’m really glad that you like it Thank you so much .
Just passed your rig north of Pittsburgh, so sick never seen anything like it good work
Oh that’s awesome. Yeah we’re down here in New Mexico now.
Hey! We were behind your car during the eclipse today, I don't know when you'll see this, that rest stop was crazy though.
That’s awesome!!!! Hahaha yea it was!!!!
Super glad you were able to experience that !! Were you the guy from California ?
@@henryitsdeza5553I'm replying really late to this, but we were in a Grey Kia soul, and it was one of you with the shirt more fat less fit, something like that.
@@timothylego5675 oh that would be our buddy zak he has the green Xterra
Man, this is like every other channel without Deza, should change the name
I totally agree!!! I hate not taking the jeeps! Just our last few trips have been north in brown bear country and we just feel safer inside the trucks. But this summer we have trips planned for the jeeps!
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching !!
Great job it’s coming along well . What size tire are you running on there
I went from a factory 18 to a 17 with a 31” tall and 11” wide. Toyo open county 18. 10 ply
Love the bbq idea.
Thank you ! It was the best utilization of the space !
Great job 👏
We saw you at Walmart!!
where did you start and end, that looks so great, we have a SXS and would like to go there, I'm not sure where we could park and unload, thank you !
Crazy how the wheal well matched up pretty good
It's a shame they've sold you this expensive marine grade plywood all bent up... I hate it when I'm going to buy wood, they want to charge a premium and then its all bent up and twisted...
