Bought a second hand laptop. Msi modern 14 b4mw. Is this the one showing in the video? Planning to upgrade the ram from default 8gb to 64gb if its really 2 slots. Philippine variant.

Is it better to use same memory size RAMs in both slots?. Is there any performance issues that you are facing right now due to 2 different sizes in RAMs?

for stable system need to use the same ram config. but i dont see any different for my daily use. where most of time i use for work and only for gaming when i am away from my desktop. my old haswell desktop also using differ ram config. 4+4+8+8 and got no issue with it. maybe for gaming, where you need the extra 10% fps, you might need it. the same ram config.

Hey Faiz, can I ask you a question? How much does it cost to pay someone to upgrade a RAM? I'm thinking it's going to be around RM50-150 (Not include the RAM I bought). You can respond with Malay so you don't have a hard time typing it out in English

Sorry. dont really understand. My English is terrible. U mean the [RAM price] or [labor cost and RAM price] ? It depends on the shop. Some shops offered free labor costs. Me myself, kena about RM50 for the labor cost to upgrade the RAM. My new MSI GF63 is difficult to open. Asked them to operate but, the end, me myself opening it with their tools since they dont know how to open. Still paying them RM50. lol (i move my 32gb from MODERN14 to GF63 before so i know a little way to open it) For RAM Pricing, you can check on shopee or shop price list. Normally I will check on czone website for the price list.

like always. be patient, wait for 1-4 days for a better quality. maybe 24 hrs is enough for HD and UHD may takes a few days. Pray for youtube processing is faster.
