Buzan is not exactly unbiased or well informed. He is mostly repeating western media talking points or negative propaganda about China. Globalisation is not new or likely to end. Western company outsourcing it's manufacturing started long before China came into the picture. China joining world trade started long before the west gave their approval. Much of the initial trade with the west were outsourced manufactured products, it wasn't some altruistic policy. China or any other developing nation are not colonies of western powers and obligated to follow it's rules or organisation. It should do so on its merits and benefits.

Sometime I feel like the Western of China experts are talking to themselves since I don't think Chinese government stop paying attention knowing the hidden sinister agenda, a continuation of colonial legacy of interfering in other sovereign nation internal affair or hope to steer via forum institutions like this one. Other dialog agenda is mainly to brainwash the domestic audience on China bad, a typical Western skewed perspective against the non-White world due to believe in one's own cultural superiority resulting in mindset of hegemonic dominant control against the rest of the 80% of the world.

There are magnificent minds like that on both sides of the Democracy and Autocracy divide. I've been musing lately on the influence being enlightened and not self interested, it's my belief that , if we can get there were all going to balance out over time. The lobbyist, the campaign funding, the business espionage and coercion ...all those corruptions of the human spirit need to be understood and countered. It brings to mind the Gulags and re education facilities of generations past but I see the effect of the competition between nations as already catalyzing a better quality billionaire and ethics that drive the dialogue forward. I'm hugely optimistic about the future and thank you for letting me listen .
