I live in Canada. My local pharmacy put up a sign apologizing to diabetic patrons because they could only give out a small amount of Ozempic if it was in stock at all due to a shortage. Thinness is a status symbol. That's why the ultra-rich co-opted a medication. Oprah Winfrey is a stockholder in Novo-Nordisk, the pharma company who owns Ozempic - so many are profiting from it.

My dad tried pushing ozempic on me, but I still refuse it because I’m not sold on all the nausea it induces. I’d rather just have the time to exercise 😂

When Disney erased Apu, it was dead. Before that, it was meh. Lets be honest, The Simpsons never got much better than Who Shot Mr Burns? Then again, i thought the movie was pretty great.

When movie or an episode of a show is based on a trend in society, it can come true if that trend continues. For example, the movie, "Idiocracy," is based on what would happen if society lost reasoning and critical thinking abilities.

Really good video man, subscribed! You hit the nail on the head on so many points here - especially that a Randy who can get bullied into things is a far cry from the more recent seasons' versions of him. And I think that's great! We already have an apocalyptically destructive, evil character: Cartman. We don't need a 2nd one.

Im surprised they didnt bring up the fact the reason there is a Zyn Tabaccoless nicotine shortage is because people were using it in place of ozempic. Both USA and UK online stores sold out

Okay bro Jesus Christ. I will admit that Pip isn’t the worst episode in the show, but damn why throw Tegridy Farms under the bus? Those episodes in season 23 are some of my favorite episodes of the whole show.

Mrs testaburger (Alexis) told Wendy not to respond with violence, what a hypocrite. Tolkien’s mom went Classi during the mad max scene Craig’s mom’s hot and has a big bush but doesn’t mean she’s a good mom. Mrs tweak must be a terrifying influence on her son Tweek. especially since she drugs him with coffee. Butters mom Linda. Oof. For all we know she doesn’t care about butters’s safety at all, yet cries the loudest when something happens to him.

This special really hit my mom hard. She had fun with it but the moms what got her. She needs medicine to help her out with her diabetes but her medicine is constantly out of stock and she needs it. Then a weight loss commercial would come on saying you can lose weight but that's her medicine. I am glad that South Park has brought it out in the open.

Sugar and processed foods do hit the brain like a drug addiction 🧠 It's a little more than just "self-control" that's needed. There's a growing body of evidence that shows your food cravings are influenced by your gut microbiotia and that's influenced by...the food you're already used to eating 🦠 🍍 not saying self control isn't a good thing to have- im saying it's not always that simple. The episode "turd burglars" kinda touched up on this too, but with the gut microbiome specifically 💩 Ozempic works on the brain, helping to "quiet" some of the "food noise" that obese people's brains are always making. And it may help with other addictive and compulsive behaviors. More research is being done, and the real side effects of the drug are just beginning to be known. It's been really hard for me to quit sugar- but diet, exercise, and hydration are always gonna be better for you than whatever fad drug or surgery is promising fast results 💉

I researched the cost of Ozempic, on Google and found a website called “Goodrx” and they offer a “savings of $150 for a 1-month, $300 for a 2-month, and $450 for a 3-month supply”. Closed to $500 every 3 months, the first year of Ozempic is expensive but seeing those hot wife’s and their ads. I believe it’s worth the terrible of doing Double shifts or working two jobs

:/ my mom has it for diabetes since it originally came out and it can be a fight for her to get it at times now. It causes massive harm to normal people. Why? They take it 2-3 times a day! She takes it once a week!

The craze is real and stupid. My mom takes Ozempic for diabetes. She has to call in her medication days in advance to make sure her pharmacy has it in stock. She has even had to go without a prescription before because of low supply. She spoke to her primary about this but he refuses to put her on normal insulin because she does so well on Ozempic. It sucks to see her go through this because rich people are prioritized.

@@zerotodona1495 I'm so sorry to both of you guys. I've heard some desperate diabetics had to buy it from the black market. And that some of the black market Ozempic ended up killing them, because it wasn't legit. The rich ruin everything.

Why is it that every cartoon created by some white guy that has a black character the character in question is always written as the opposite of their assigned ethnicity. Like I'm looking at these cartoons from a different point of view wondering why are black characters written by some white guy have to behave like white people? Like I'm not going to write additional character who is white behaving like a black person, just something to think about.

The depiction of the American Health Care System is far too painfully accurate Also, it seems like a missed opportunity for the sugar cartel not to mess with the drugs at the source, putting in a neutralizer, or maybe even add something to have it work in the opposite manner than they did in the show

To your point at 4:48 about will power, that is 1000% the case. I had a severely overweight cousin who always talked about how he struggled to lose weight. All of us cousins tried to help him diet or get into a work out routine. But he never stuck to it. Recently he got approved for weight loss surgery but first had to shed 150 lbs. He ended up losing the 150 lbs to get the surgery through dieting and working out in a surprising amount of time but rather than just continue that regiment and lose another 150 lbs he went and got the surgery. I still to this day don’t understand why he just didn’t keep on working out and dieting. It’s absolutely a mind over matter thing.
