When I write my OCs, I realized aliens and mythical beasts never gave me the scare factor. When I used humans, evolution and all, that's when I got scared. To make matters worse, I invovled organized crime and governments because I know that's where all the wild shit goes.

I was a toddler in New Zealand when the Erebus crash happened. I was too young to remember the actual event, but do remember it being continually on the news for years when I was growing up. The fallout of it went on for decades, and had a major impact on NZ - the inquiry and cover up more so than the actual crash itself.

i had a teacher who witnessed the plane before it crashed though i’m not sure how far before, he was a mechanic, i think at new zealand’s antarctic base. he was very young, not long turned 18 i believe. even all these years later he still couldn’t talk about it, it was too traumatising for him.
