Unfortunately this is incorrect to people that are interested in historical accuracy. Ringo was so drunk that Billy brackenridge who ran into him a few minutes before he was killed, said he was helpless. And it is proven that the day before doc Holliday was seen playing a poker game in Glenwood springs Colorado before he had to go to court the day of the death. Wyatt Earp was talking to the mayor in Denver trying to be able to come into town since there was a warrant for his arrest. Both of them are just too far away to have ever been involved in any way neither one of them could kill Ringo in a fair fight. Ringo was shot as he was sleeping or passed out because he was practically helpless according to Billy Breckenridge. Billy brackenridge who served warrants against some of the most dangerous men in Arizona said I can tell you one thing holiday nor Earp was there or I would have arrested them. He ran into buckskin Frank Leslie who Johnny Ringo had made back down earlier much the same way as he did Wyatt Earp and even doc Holliday. They had words it was witnessed by people and they said Ringo backed out of the saloon and said make your play Frank I'm not going to give you my back.
