Hello! Thanks for visiting my channel!
The intentions of this channel are to showcase my work as I learn to craft things out of wood. I am working towards becoming a craftsman in furniture and all sorts of woodcraft. Mostly all of my experience and knowledge comes from what I have learned on youtube. I hope to share with you all that I am learning, the good and the bad. If you have questions or suggestions engage in the comments or send me an email.

have to admit turned out not bad one thing though is there a reason you didn't put hinges inside the box so not visable .
why would you cut it in half with hand saw never get straight cut. I have to admit thou you really did come close
Very beautiful fly box
Very nice job! Thanks for sharing.
Would love to have one like this great work
I’m new to woodworking and was wondering what kind of plane that was you were using at the 6:50 mark to route out the space for the foam.
what hand plane did you use ?
Thats a great looking fly box and thx for the video. If you could be so kind, what is the thickness of your top and bottom? where did you find hinges and the magnet? and what kind of oil did you use? Beautiful craftsmanship with hand tools, love it.
do you know the name of that planner? I've been looking for a similar one and can't find it anywhere!
Looks like a Veritas router plane, not 100% sure, but very traditional, you could just use a palm router... but I think the beauty of this video was that he did it all with hand tools.
Nice box and video
I cant find this foam on amazon. do you have the name in your purchase history ? or a link ? Thanks so much!
Nice video. What type of camera and file format do you use. it looks like you're shooting in 4k or more.
I never see a workshop so dark
Nice work! Where did you source the foam from?
Peterdrex thank you, it was a fun project, I got the foam in a 10 pack bundle from Amazon. I had to cut it down to the size I wanted and it wasn’t very sticky so I epoxied it in.
Becoming a Craftsman thank you
Car si Kralju...!
Should have used the Dewalt, it would have been a shorter video?
Haha I’ll keep that in mind next time
Watching your video I really had the sense of going back in time, not a single sound of a modern shop. The magnets threw me off a little though. Nice job and a thumbs up.
Thank you! Hand tool woodwork is really nice. It’s so engaging. I’m glad you liked it.
A true carpenter. Congratulations.
Not bad!
Thank you! It was fun
So eucalyptus is a hard wood? I’ve never used it so I had no idea. But the sound of your planes and then the super hard bit driving gave it away.
Yep! Definitely a hardwood. It’s fantastic firewood. (Don’t burn it in a fireplace tho) this stuff was super dense. The hardest part was the holes 😓
Great work! Loved the end result.
You should share this on the Unplugged Woodworkers FB page. Rules won’t allow me to share it because it’s not my original content. But it is your original content.
That’s a great idea. Thank you!
Excellent! Great work with the camera. And a very nice looking fly box.
Thank you Russel! It was a lot of work but very rewarding.
I can’t wait to see what’s next. I hope this channel takes off for you.
