I commented on your other video but for some reason the reply wont work now, anyway I was asking about a shorter nose cone and you where talking about the longer ones cut threw waves better and get a faster speed, which is a bonus. But is there a way to attach a mounting bracket to the noise cone? That way I could extend the decking farther out 18"-24" or so? Seems like the best of both worlds if that is possible, less obstruction up front for fishing, but still the same design for cutting through the water?

this is cool, been thinking of making a modular fishing pontoon that I can break down. The only problem I see with this for a fishing pontoon is the nose cones are WAY to long. Are you planning to make shorter nose cone?
@Expandacraftboats4 күн бұрын
The bow is that long for good reason. They are wave piercing, and go through an oncoming wave instead of riding on top of it. Just like large transport catamarans, the long hulls punch through and come out the other side with little pitching movement, that makes them very efficient.
@DBLDREW4 күн бұрын
@@Expandacraftboats I figured that was why you made them that long, but I would rather ride over a wave and have more un obstructed space up front vs cutting through a wave.
