I'm a huge fan of Spyder products but lately I'm very disappointed with Spyder because their product quality looks and feels cheaper now. Products from 2022 and later feel cheaper than the previous years. The company cuts down its cost and quality. If these two young think what they're holding are good, perhaps they should feel the 2020 Spyder jacket and pants to see a difference.

My wife and I went for the first time last year (Over Xmas and New Year) and it was just a fabulous place. We skied Banff/Lake Louise a number of times but absolutely loved Sun Peaks. We were extremely lucky with the snow during our stay and as you say, the runs are just mostly empty which is fabulous. We had such a blast, we have just booked to go xmas & new year in 2024 too! One thing you haven't mentioned, is there is a very good selection of AirBnBs to suit all budgets if hotels aren't your thing. That's what we have chosen to do this year. Great video

Loved your enthusiatic review of the Kore 85 W! I have skied on 193 Head Racing skis my entire life, but now that I am entering my golden years and sking a little slower, I bought a lighter, shorter ski (170) and the narrowest Kore ski available--the Kore 85 W. I know what the W stands for but I was told I am not the first gent to buy a W model and there is little difference between the 85 W and the men's 87 give or take two cm's. I haven't tried them out yet because I purchased them in March of this year, but I can't wait for next winter especially after your glowing comments. Thanks!

Bought this system and the Airfoil 3D are lovely BUT... What is the release tension set as I find it nearly impossible to release in tests. Click in and out is easy and very handy, but also I do wonder the lifespan of the glove rope/string/cord that connects the glove to the pole. As I want to move away from the rentals, which according to the S+R guy are intermediate skis i.e. Head Ambition - for me 150cm, and the Forza 40 he recommended was a 157cm as I'm just about 167cm. No doubt a good ski. But it is very playful and energetic on the verge to nervousness. In order to control this ski at higher speed your have to ski it aggressively and apply constant pressure forwardwise in order to hold it under control. I ski it in 176 and maybe 184 would be a better choice for tougher use since it should problably come out a little more mature and consolidatet.
