Silly question alert: can anyone please tell me what the difference is between the G major chord at 3:03 and the chord that looks like it should sound the same but doesn't at 3:07? I want to play the mystery chord but my beginner brain can't work out it. Thanks!

For anyone watching (for either part) Play it late at night with dedication (4-6) Hours minimum and than fall asleep tomorrow do the same thing for 1 week after 1 week you’ll have very small problems playing it belive me it will work Disclaimer (you won’t be as good as them) They are professionals at what they do and they played for 10+ years everyday 5-6 hours so you won’t get there without practice but playing at night for long periods or sections of time and then waking up you’ll see your much better than you were before (your muscles will adapt to the guitar and your skin won’t hurt after 1+ week so do that and don’t dream in bed without giving the practice those dreams will remain dreams.

I love this! Learn from the creators. Shame the lighting is awful and video quality poor. Hardly makes easy learning for complicated guitar parts. Surely will discourage beginners with the will to learn

Is it normal that after less than one minute of practicing Gabriela's part, my right neck/shoulder hurts, & does anyone have advice for this, other than more practice?! Thanks in advance

I just bought the sheet music to this from musicnotes.com. (I hope R&G get some of that money) it's very helpful because it has both the notation and the tab.

Butikov Lev Aminor G C E (or E7 =depending on the part of the song) repeating all the way through... Except that middle bit, which is Dminor 7> E7... repeating... A luscious song, both rhythm and 'lead'...

To anyone trying to learn this, for the rhythm guitar I suggest learning to play a Flamenco Rhumba and basic Funk rhythm guitar first. You may also want to take a brief glance at Gypsy Jazz rhythm guitar. For the melody, you may want to take a look at Django Reinhardt's "Minor Swing" and possibly Led Zeppelin's "Stairway To Heaven," as both are good primers for learning this. You may also want to practice a small bit of Flamenco guitar improvisation, to get your hands moving in the way that you need for this. But then, this is just the opinion of a guitarist who isn't really that good, so take my opinions with a grain of salt, and learn it however you see fit!
