  to help clarify on a word, mete in Kitaniji's "we mete out punishment" line is pronounced "meet" like meter. Likely a case of hearing the phrase a lot but never seeing it written out until now.

  I will always love Neku's reasoning for helping Kariya & Uzuki there. Sure he's getting character growth but going "it would be funny to see their reactions" still fits perfectly given the shit both of them gave him so far.

  On the note of "guess it kinda suits his style", that's because it is. In NEO, you can unlock Neku's outfit as threads & they are the JotM brand. That plus the JotM effects here & certain item flavor text all but says out loud that it's Neku's favorite brand. It's kinda extra fitting given how him & the protag of NEO have 2 of the 3 "x no evil" monkeys theme going on with Neku's headphones being hear no evil while NEO's wears a facemask that could represent speak no evil.

  to add on to the whole "don't watch the anime" aspect, yeah ESPECIALLY don't try to watch it as your prep for NEO. For one thing, one part from the first game that NEO follows up on is something that was added in the Final Mix/Remix versions which the anime DOESN'T COVER. I bring this up because of a... well less conversation & more full blown argument I had with someone who just was not listening to how me & other friend were bringing up how much crucial shit it barely covers. Sub knows what I'm talking about.

  The more that I listen to the background music, and looked up the date when this was originally released in Japan, the thought that is running in my head is that what ATLUS did by asking Lotus Juice to rap on Persona 3 probably influenced this game. EDIT: The moment I saw Konohana Sakuya I thought of Persona 4 Golden. I'm sorry.

  so figured it wouldn't hurt to clarify here so people know, the benefits to following a character's food preferences is that liking or disliking a food will apply a multiplier to the sync rate gain. There's five tiers of preference with hating the food cutting how much sync the food gives in half while absolute faves, like how Shiki described the ramen, doubling the stated amount.
