Just a correction at 2:30. The copa são paulo is not only for teams in that region. It is the biggest and most watched youth tournament in brazil, gathering more than 100 teams every year. The tournament is normally U20, but since the previous edition didn't happen cause of covid, the 2022 edition became an U21 special edition. Then enters endrick, aged 15 and absolutelly dominating the 20-21 year olds, bagging screamer after screamer, leading palmeiras to their first ever copa sao paulo title and being named player of the tournament. Until that moment i had never heard much of him, but that surelly impressed the hell out of me!

@@FootballersWeekly Yeah, it was only a narrow penalty loss, so i'm not too down about it .... the next few days will define our season though, by the time we next play (Thursday), we could be four points behind both Arsenal and Liverpool, with games now fast running out.

I'm Brazilian and I've been following Endrick's career since he was 13 years old. This boy is not normal. The last time I saw a player this talented and so hungry to win was Ronaldo R9. At the age of 15, Palmeiras was forced to move him up to the under 21 category, and at the age of 15 he destroyed his opponents on the field with agility and physical strength that you wouldn't expect from a U16 teenager. Extremely focused and psychologically mature, he doesn't get intimidated, he doesn't get into trouble. he takes photos with the opposing fans at the end of the game. Anything can happen but Florentino's bet seems to be very good.
