I hope i can comment, much respect
Another one ! 🔥🔥 why does some concrete needs a just a pull broom and some needs to be a push and and pull back to get a good broom finish ? Depends on the timing and how wet the concrete is boss?
@lloydTom911 Correct, the dryer it is the more passes it needs.
You all do fantastic work! Have you ever talked to Ryan with Victory Outdoor Services? He has a huge following and I can tell by the quality of your team’s work that he would approve 😂. I bet Ryan could give you some of his secret sauce to help boost your subscribers too. I found your channel by accident and I bet many more people would join if they knew the channel existed. I wish you all much success!
@@melvinsmiley5295 I was following Ryan since he had 300 followers. Amazing craftsman. Thanks for following.
Question…could the homeowner have gone straight to the road or did it have to curve into the other approach? You guys do such a thorough job. It was so impressive to see something done correctly. Bravo!
@@melvinsmiley5295 Had to curve in. And thank you for watching.
Yo whats going on? U still doin jujitsu? Jw btw great job on that machine. Who do u still watch on yt that does concrete?
@GRUBB-MUDD keeping busy brother, still doing jiu-jitsu and muay thai. Just had 2 fights 2 weeks ago. It was a tight squeeze in this job for sure. I watch you, hausses, victory, grumpy, and a few others.
@@jmconcretecoloradosprings ok sweet i was jw. I knew u used too watch all them
JnJ solutions checking in .... Finishers never hope we make em like it with our kind words and gentle hands ...... Smile
You have a pretty decent operation, and good workers. Broke Bobby Gump has a joke of an operation and he is no where near at your level.
@GRUBB-MUDD Bobby Grubb is one hell of a concrete Mason. Just another man like me trying to survive in this pain of a profession.
Is the curve near the road a requirement or preference? That grass is going to have a hard time growing when you drive over it a few hundred times. Nice work, very clean.
@@raymonddurkin In this case, a requirement.
Great video, I have a question when installing low voltage step lights the wire under the concrete should be inside a conduit, correct?
@@poundermonster We didn't install these lights. An electrician did that. They would be better suited to answer this question.
Great video ! Ima a huge supporter of all your work ! I’m trying to get in this trade started a business it’s so many questions I have but I’m learning day by day and I know one day ima be great at it! @lloydTom911 Thanks for the kind words brother. If you have any questions about the concrete game. Feel free to email me at any time. Thanks for watching!

@@GRUBB-MUDD Right on, we all need a little time off. Hope you all are having fun
Its sunday, u know j&m is posting a video, shh be quite i cant hear joe
@GRUBB-MUDD Thanks brother! Hope you all are staying busy.
Nice project!
@@BloodSweatTearsConcrete Thank you, it was a good one right before a much needed vacation.
Man that looks good!
Thank you, it was a quick little job. I wish we wouldn't have forgotten the camera on the prep. But still glad you stopped by and watched the video!
Yt short
Basically! Hahaha.
Do you cure your driveway additions with plastic covering? How long?
Never, that would leave the surface mottled.we recommend regular watering for the first 7 days then We recommend a penetrating sealer 5 weeks after the pour.
Leads are slow here in ny people don’t wanna pay for good work
Let them hire cheap contractors. They always come back to the good ones when that work falls apart. Just be patient.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you!
That’s not a good job that an excellent job 👍
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Nice work drivwway look amazing
Thanks brother!

My goodness that mt100 aint no joke
If you break up the pieces just big enough to fit in the bucket you can fly through it.
@@jmconcretecoloradosprings yeah i heard u say that, im impressed with it
Do you ever powertrowel
We usually don't pour large enough indoor pours for a power trowel.
Nice work , do you also put sealant on?
I recommend the customers put a penetrating sealer 5 weeks later themselves. It saves them money since it's a simple DIY step.
Nice job what is the material you use to make that curve Thanks in advance
It was a Poly Meta form. They are ok. I prefer using wood now.
You didn't show how you added the electrical boxes and how they all connect.
The homeowner had an electrician do it. I should have recorded it for sure.
Why put caulk?
Watch the video.
My Mannn Joe ..
How's it going? Hope you all are staying busy.
Quality work man good stuff by the way where is this beautiful place? Beautiful landscape with mountain back drop
Thank you and Colorado Springs, Colorado US.
Looking good. It’s a slightly different process then how we do it here in Florida 🙌🏽
The heat and humidity would make me quit fast in Florida. Some good concrete crews down your way.
Nice slump, love the finished product! Great work team
Thanks brother for commenting and watching!
We want more.. i wana see a behind the scenes video. Your planning and some of the convo on the jobsite. Either way great video my guy. That was NUTS , plus your soil is trash up there. Most exspansive soil in the usa (colorado springs)
Tell me about it. Also we are currently having a shortage on the stuff we use for our subgrade. So let's hope we don't deal with that soil too much. And maybe one of these days I post a behind the scenes.
holly molly
It was a lot dirt we moved. Glad it's done though. Thanks for commenting and watching.
the guy is from Aspen Colorado .... where he came on his moped .... poured concrete light over boxes without connecting them with wires .. daaaa ....
👍
Good looking bobcat. I own a concrete company and looking into buying a compact unit. Do you still like it after having it a while ?
Absolutely love it still.
Nice job j&m always perfect.
Thank you for commenting and watching. Glad you always take a look at our videos.
We need to get that buggy flap sposorship
I wish it had like a type of chute attachment, but they don't make it. It would make so much money to whoever invents it first.
The Kubota scl1000 w jackhammer
The scl1000 with a jackhammer would be dope. They are so expensive now though.
You guys are always killing it, nice job Joe & team! That wire stood no chance huh? Did u get that link
The wire did suck though. Had to put hundreds of holes through it then pry it up and snap the wire. Link?
Do you and your crew always pour with "micro air" or just when cold weather is coming ( late summer)
Always
Looks real good, what is fiberglass rebar???
#3 or 4?
#3 Fiberglass rebar. Just google MST-BAR. Great explanation on their website.

How much would something like that cost?
This would be about $8,000.00
@@jmconcretecoloradospringsI’m in WI trying to do something similar for my in law, about 350 sq ft, one of our concrete buddies said $20 a sq ft so around $7k but I was thinking $13.50 a sq ft so $4750 total. Basically, I want to give a family discount but don’t want to lose money. Thoughts?
Great job looks great.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Nice job Joe do you always Steele trowel your outside concrete ?
As long as we reopen the surface with a broom finish, yes. I don't recommend steele trowel outside without a broom. It can spall that way.
Do you have to do anything special with the leveling when it's right next to the house like this? And did you just do the edging line right next to the house? I think i want to do this at my new house.
It has to slope between 1.2-1.9% away from the house. Edging line?
These are the best jobs, wish all I had to do were hot tub pads and shed slabs 🔥👍
Quick, simple, fast. With the right equipment it's easy.
Very clean set up work and finish!!
Thank you for watching and commenting!
U guys did that quick
Had to, only way to make some $$$. How's your hand doing?
@@jmconcretecoloradosprings its cool!
hiya, just wondering why bricks weren't put it with wet cement altogether and done afterwards? thanks
Bricks were done few weeks later by customer.
