  Danny I don’t know if you will see this message, but TY!!!!!!!! I’ve had a difficult life; taking care of my physically disabled brother, because my mom was a drug addict and my dad was gone… Despite wanting to “be an artist”, I believed my mom who said I wasn’t good enough and my father who said; “all artists are crazy, just look at your mother”. So I never even tried!😭 I lived a very lonely life, not for the lack of others, but for the lack of the TRUE me! 5 years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and as I was recovering, I finally realized I wanted to live my life for me. So I started drawing, but the voices of self sabotage were quite loud and threatening. So not much came of it. So I was still lonely. This past fall I was told the cancer has metastasized and had spread to my organs and my bones and even my brain and that I had 4 months to live. 😂As I was laying in that hospital bed, all I could think was that I had let myself down because I let others keep me from my art, from letting out what was inside of me. As I started my very slow recovery I also started painting in watercolor because FINALLY I truly had nothing to lose! I am NOT and never have been afraid to die! But I am terrified of NOT living!🙏🏽 I’m still here and I am still painting! Because YOU told me I could and that I SHOULD! I am eternally grateful to you!
