It's so long since I heard this it's certainly a classic and the later rendition is beautiful. Wonderful sound that seems to have been left to lie almost dormant. I hope this exposure will revive the recordings.

I was young and carefree when this song was first released,never took knotice or understood what the words of the song meant and now im alot older and listen to the words, the words are very meaningful to me ,😢😢😢😢😢😢 thinking back to my happy youth when all the people i love and have now gone were healthy and happy too

This was incredible. Thank you so so much for re-doing it. It was one of my favorites in 1969 and after. Now I've lost my childhood home and my own family home it has even more meaning. It has always brought tears to my eyes.

The voice may not be quite as powerful as it was but this was one bloddy magnificent version of Deans and Marmalades classic version.... RIP Dean ... Or Tommy McAleese to give his birth name was born in Airdrie but grew up in my home town of Coatbridge were he always had a good following and was well loved during his musical career
