Waitint for maui late on 2024
Nice Video , thank you
where can i get kali linux
Are you serious?
Plz report your self.
I think you should learn about Google and Linux before you come even close to Kali Linux.
I would love an option for an "automatic global theme" that puts it in light mode during the day and dark mode at night (including icons and wallpaper). I still haven't found something that does that, we only have the option for night light and to reduce blue light."
In theory, there are programs like Cron that can do that for you, but the hassle of setting it up is a big turn-off. However, I agree that it would be a nice feature to have in KDE.
great video! just a hint, Scalable Vector Graphics is pronounced as SVG (as in "Es Vee Gee") not SFG ("Es Ef Gee").
If I think about it, I've always pronounced it like this. :) Thank you for letting me know.
And what is soooooooooo much better at KAOS?
apex can be play on linux natively?
Hey, it's not native but the game runs smooth on Linux through proton.
Internet error fix - in Nitrux live run terminal - station - press ctrl+c, then write - sudo dhcpcd , wait while. Internet works, install normally. Installed system works normally❤
THANK YOU SO MUCH. Piece of cake. 😎
Is there a version of Nitrux os that is more laptop optimized, ratger than desktop ... ? Battery life on Linux is already ... Okeyish 😑
Cannot install this on anything. Tried two PCs and one laptop. Won't install because it cannot find ethernet or wifi. Totally useless.
Run terminal - station - in station press ctrl+c , then sudo dhcpcd - wait while. Internet working, install normally❤
Hi, great comparison. Can you please tell me how to get that little box of data in the upper left for Pop OS? Thanks!.
Hello, that app is mangohud , you can find it on Google along with detailed instructions on how to install it.
@@LinuxNetwork Thanks!
Well damn me it's back!
Can I finally move the dock/launcher to the right side of the screen?
1. A GUI based package manager should be added to this distro. 2. Would it work on Lenovo Thinkpad X130e laptop with AMD E450 APU & 4GB DDR3 RAM. 3. Is there anyway to make it more snappier on very low end computers?
No, because Ubuntu base is to heavy. If you want Linux for weak hardware Antix is better choose.
snap or deb?
Snap. I am using 6.6
@@asifshamsi5630 Then how is Linux lite 7 better than Xubuntu-minimal?
I’d never use anything else than an immutable distro or NixOS (or a well-implemented FS snapshots workflow based on OpenZFS or Btrfs at the very least)… but damn, they did a fantastic job with the release. It also looks sleek! A newcomer to GNU/Linux would have a hard time deciding between MX and Mint 🙂
The only thing that sucks about using Arch - is the lack of a software store and the insane complexity of installing packages.
Informative, but could be improved by matching the video with the feature you're talking about so what you're saying can be seen.
Does it survive a reboot after installing from a YUMi-exFAT (Ventoy/uEFi) thumb drive??
Ex works
First comment😊
Ah yeah Memejaro worst spin of Arch Linux.
thank you for your useless opinion
> anime pfp > your arch linux version that you use is sh!te!!!!! tread lightly v!rgin
I see MX still looks horrible out of the box. All that work on MX tools just to turn out something that looks like a steaming pile of dog shit. And that stupid bar on the left side. Other than the tools I really don't understand why ppl like MX. I have tried it off and on for years and other than the MX tools there is nothing to see here.
MX is what attracted me the most when I thought about giving Linux a try. Because It looks like an actual operating system and not some kindergarten, rainbow lollipop type shit with rounded corners like ubuntu or mint. Every new release comes with less and less features, less customization options, snaps packages and other crap, that if it weren't for MX, I'd probably be switching back to using windows again.
@@eugenesukhoi7025 So an "actual operating system" has to look like complete shit to get work done? lol Just because an OS looks good doesn't mean it has less features. My Zorin OS and Manjaro KDE look fantastic and can do everything MX can. Another good example is MacOS. It looks great and is more powerful out of the box than any Linux distro that has ever existed.
@@dragonballjiujitsu just use macOS and nice lips.
@@eugenesukhoi7025 I use both. For media consumption and older computers there is Linux. For media production and work there is MacOS.
@@eugenesukhoi7025 Sounds like Bunsenlabs would be your thing. Minimalism and functionalism. Added rounded corners though to right-click main menu in latest Boron release. ;)
Thanks
Hey .. i have serious errors after the upgrade
I had little issue with flatpaks but then after restart it got resolved. Using Manjaro XFCE
Wow! Manjaro is my fav distro. After distro hopping a lot of distros I will recommend fedora, Linux Mint, Lite and Manjaro as the best. I personally use Manjaro XFCE and i love the buttery smooth experience. Try it out.
Thanks a lot 🙏
Yeah, true, but Pop OS, debian, Zorin are also the best😂
@@sheldonkupa9120 Agreed Bro! Pakages are a bit old though this is the only sacrifice for stability. But they are wonderful in their own way too!
@@indradyumnadasa8155 Absolutely correct, 22.04 feels really oldish now. Thats the reason i experimented with Fedora, Manjaro and other distros recently. I really hope System 76 has success with their cosmic desktop development, cant wait. Use Pop OS since 2016 on any machine i use. But really, many distros are just awesome nowadays.
OpenSUSE TW & Leap also great.
How to upgrade it I have dual boot when I upgrad it firstly it ask much questions I don't know what to answer or what to click can you make a video on it
hey beautiful people. how in this linux called “rhino” to find the store of programs you want to install ? maybe only the console works here ? thx.
Hi, as an only gamer i need VRR and HDR. Does it supprt? Also i use a 4090. Nvidia.... Greenwithenvy only works on X11. So can i get this all features at once?
It really sucks. but when do they decide to put the printer icon? the global menu practically does not exist.
I am using Garuda Cinnamon until I get used to it because it reminds me of classic Windows the terminal is easy to use Dragonfied is cool don't get me wrong I wish Garuda made their own SteamOS designed for Steam they deserve the respect.
Thanks for covering the AlmaLinux beta! The stable version has been released now as well. Let us know if there's anything we can do to support you!
Did you have to install drivers or is this just out of the box kernel drivers?
Out of the box, the drivers are already there if you use AMD.
What is it like updating from version 23 to 24 is it one click update?
Is there any way to make apps go into taskbar like in windows 10, 7 ? Its annoying that i minimize somethinlg and i have to alt tab to get back to it. I have browser in my taskbar and if i click on it, it opens a new browser not the one i already have opened.
That's strange, they should either be on the docker bar or up in the top right task section as an icon. I've never *had* to alt-tab to get to minimized items.
@@BK-hp8cj i made it work somehow. Is there any tutorial on how to install and use pamac ? It doesn't work. I do get it but it doesn't open up.
Too bad there is no gui to manipulate the effects similarly to reshade. That would be just a masterpiece! An alternative to Vulkan. I would definitely give a donation for something like this. I, for example, can't adjust anything in it at all.
the onscreen keyboard doent seem to work on my table on lomiri
I like your video .Nitrux 3.4.1 sucks though
how to install on modern laptop? i cannot make sound driver works witj any linux distro. im using huawei matebook
After installing, I logged in. Ran updates. Restarted. Loged in again. But no desktop. Just a blank (not black) screen. Any idea how to fix it?
If it has the top bar just press the super key or ctrl alt T
The applets (which are never shown anywhere, not even in the Unity website) feel very old. Unity is falling behind, and it just makes sense. GNOME does the same, with new tech.
Basicaly the same as CuteFish OS
Hello guys, is Bodhi Linux a good choice for newbies or is better stick on Linux Mint? Thanks 🙏
I had recently returned to Endeavour and I was really enjoying the experience. But my Proton VPN stopped working cuz it appears that the apps in the AUR are outdated. After a couple days I had to switch back to MX Linux where the vpn is working perfectly. I realize that I have limited knowledge and wasn't able to resolve the issue on Endeavour.
Keep it up.😇
why if KDE6 not good enough for this "cool distribution"?
The Nitrux OS team opts against KDE Plasma 6 due to their heavy reliance on widgets in crafting NX Desktop. As Plasma 6's transition could disrupt these elements, they view Plasma 5 as having served NX Desktop's purpose. Despite lacking upstreamed code, NX Desktop's influence on Plasma's development is acknowledged, with many features indirectly inspiring KDE's advancements. Thus, while Plasma 6 brings innovations, the Nitrux team sees NX Desktop as having shaped Plasma's trajectory positively, even if it remains rooted in Plasma 5 for now.
How did you customize your fedora 😢 please make a video tutorial
This game is in closed beta and is not very well optimized.
Garuda uncensored 😏
I see what I need at 1:40 : 1.8GB memory is used to run Plasma 6 + 1 app system monitor. Edit: just installed hyprland in Arch. Started it and htop said that 1.5GB ram was used.
