1 . How do you rescue someone so high up? How far did they pull that person for? 2. How do climbers keep from running out of oxygen with such long lines? 3. Is the wind normally that strong? It sounded like it could blow people off the mountain. 4. How do you get around each other when passing? Does the ascending climber or descending climber have to unclip from the rope and then clip back in to pass? Are there rules you follow when passing climbers? I’m just so curious about these things. For years I've been mesmerized by Everest, in this day and age with the ever improving video and satellite communications I am able to experience just a small visual part of the mountain realizing the cold, altitude, weather, and fatigue can really only be experienced in person.
