SUPER Mini JCW Clubman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It has power but it's heavy.
AMG plate
Ralley 2.0E never had ZF 5 speed. It could be upgraded later ofcourse.
The Lynk & Co 01 is a longer XC40 for less money. Longer means more space, bigger battery and thus more EV range. And it's better looking than the Volvo.
Sometimes you spend too much time not watching the road. Other than that, great video.
Bro if you get an Audi A3 Sportback S Line, does the flat bottom steering wheel comes standard with any S Line variant for A3?
There's almost no torque steer in the current FWD MINI. ALL4 is overkill in a car like this. The JCW with 301hp would only benefit from all-wheel drive.
Great video! Have you joined the BMW 128ti Owners group on facebook yet?
I want a manual, so it has to be a 2019 for me.
EPIC video, could you do a just normal drive in the forest at night, to demo the light. so no racing just lights.
What is the fuel economy like for this engine
While it only does 0-100km/h in 19s, it does 0-50km/h in 5s and 0-80km/h in 10s which is what you mainly use.
Man, I wish I had known about this JCW version, I have been looking for an alternative to a Golf GTI, Corolla GR but with some more personality. The camera perspective shows you can see everything around the car when driving. 💯
Yes, it is.
Did you drive both cars? Based on what is your answer Yes? I’m curious 😁
It's a pretty good car for the money. Many people are concerned by the NCAP score but bear in mind that the NCAP test was made much stricter in 2020, before 2020 this car would have probably gotten around 3 stars. I am also impressed with what this car can do with only 40hp. Yes it's slow but it maintains speed well, I have seen on keep 110 km/h on a 5% hill on the highway, which is something a petrol or diesel car with 60hp would struggle to do.
Fully agree! 🙏🏼
Great review...of yourself, geez man, show the damn car!
Hey!! Are sports seats worth it or are the serial ones fines? And What other options do you have in that car that you think are necessary? Thank so much!!
Sport seats are standard, or do you mean the M Performance ones? I had the electric seats which are usefull with 2 drivers as they have a memory. I’m a huge fan of the Navigation Pro system 😁
@@dktestdrives8476 Exactly, I was referring to the M sports, if you think they are worth it or are the standard one enough? Thank so much for you answer!!
@@JaimeGarcia-zc4hm to be honest, I liked the standard ones as they give comfort for daily drivings. If you’re looking for a nice sportseat for on track, then I’d recommend the M Sport seats 🏁
And there is option to get +40 HP 🏎for 35 TFSI engine from ABT. That will cost around 1.2k. I’m considering this, but not really sure if that’s a good solution in terms of performance/quality/fuel consumption etc. If someone tested it, pls give feedback 😉
Actually in india Volvo has launched purly electric xc40 will volvo will release this hybrid car in india for xc40. ? Do u have any idea ? in india we have xc60,xc90 hybrid . Nice review.😊
I don’t really have an answer on that to be honest, I know that both the hybrid and pure EV are launched in Europe. Do you have any other ev’s in India from Volvo/Polestar?
Thank you for the video. Can you choose a sports bucket front seats on the 30tfsi model? Probably not. How abot the aluminum inserts on the door?
Guess it depends on the country regarding the option list…
My wife has a 2022 A3 Sportback S-tronic Advanced Edition 30 TFSI. My wife needs to drive more than 30.000 km per year and I was a bit worried the little 1 litre engine would be insufficient, especially on the motorway. I am used to cars with V6 engines or with higher power output. But man, I was wrong. I clearly underestimated the 30 TFSI engine, because in fact it really surprised me. Although the A3 only has 110 horsepowers, this A3 does not have issues at all with moving the A3 forward. Sure, the little engine needs to do some revving if you want the max out of it, but you really don't have to because it has plenty of torque in the mid rev range to move along with the rest of the traffic without putting effort into it. On the motorway the engine is doing it's work very nicely. You really don't get the sense that there's a lack of power. The S-tronic gearbox and the engine are very well combined. Also, the engine sound is very well muffled and will only be noticable when you are in the higher rev range. The sound of the engine in general is nice and doesn't like a sewing machine, very different from other 3 cyl engines manufactured by other car brands that often do sound like it. My wife and I are very satisfied with this A3 Sportback 30 TFSI.
So glad to read this! It is indeed a very good car 🤩
@@dktestdrives8476 Indeed it is, helemaal gelijk. :) I am used to cars with larger engines like my current Audi A4 3.0 Quattro. So I was a bit worried initially.
Can you tell me what the ride comfort is like? There’s no adaptive suspension option on the 128ti, so you’re permanently in M Sport Suspension…is that ok as a daily car?
It is kinda hard, but I didn’t mind as a daily driver. Depends on the roads also I guess …
The Polestar 2 certainly offers value for money. But it pretends to be a Scandinavian car, while it is 100% Chinese (Volvo = Polestar = Geely). That's why I would never ever consider buying it. Prefer Tesla or Skoda.
True, but I’m convinced the price-quality is much better on the Polestar than on a Tesla..
How is reliability ?
I just had it for 1 day so I can not answer that one, but as it’s the same engine of the BMW M135i, I’m kinda sure it will be pretty good!
I just got the 2021 Ti in Green with white interior. What an amazing drivers car. Hard to believe it is an SUV. I am thinking of selling my 911 as it is just about as fun to drive. I am amazed they don’t sell a million of these.
Wauw, the TI versions is pretty cool in green! You’ll have the black wheels also?
@@dktestdrives8476 no, mine does not have the nero package that blacks out the wheels and badges.
One thing rarely discussed in any reviews is that this car has Volvo’s legendary attention to safety, baked into it’s DNA. I thinks it’s excellent value for such a solid, well built car
I can only agree on this. It’s a great car for it’s value, on all topics (and sure on safety indeed!)
Great review, I like that car! 😎👍🏼
Thanks you, appreciate! 🙏🏼 it is a really nice car indeed 😁
👋👋👋
Mooie review 🙏
Dankjewel! 🙏🏼
16k € in Bulgaria...
I found this video because I was driving from Kopenhagen till about Hannover I think in a Wrangler together with an other Wrangler, that had Danish number plates that just said "BRUTE". The driver did his Wrangler driving duty by signaling every time I passed. Thumbs up and everything. Not sure his wife or girlfriend appreciated it as much as I did. My wife at least didn't.
They are so cool Jeeps, I really love it
What a stunning looking car
It sure is! 🤩
Damn only 8.8litre consumption? Im jealous man cos my m4 does 15litres 🤣 but that looks like a hell of a fun ride, well done 👊
Haha, awtshh that hurts at the current prices ... it is indeed a really fun car!

Cool
Thanks for watching!
does the s line have the flat bottomed wheel? Im not sure it does I thought that was just the blackline?
Correct, it comes with the flat bottomed wheel if you choose the S-Line (in Belgium though), not sure it is the same in other countries.
good review bro keep it up
Thanks mate! 🙏🏼

Got mine yesterday for 8025 Euro. The only downside is the unheated side mirrors, even though it was part of the offer, it was not delivered. This morning was -5°C and my side mirrors got frozen, not nice. Otherwise I like the car, is agile, easy to drive, economic, it has all that it needs for going from A to B. I've succeeded to make 100 km in one day, the real range at -5C° is between 160-180 km depending on your driving style.
Thanks for sharing this! Hope you have a lot of fun and save km’s! 🙏🏼
Hi! Have you driven in colder climate than -5? Im really interested in this car but it hasn't arrived in sweden yet. Would really want to know how it performes in like -15. How long does it take to charge?
@@johols85 Yes, we had for couple days between -18-19°C but I haven't drive it a lot. Just went to work and back home. It showed me 140 km range. But we had lots of days this month with temperatures between -7°C to -10°C, everything was fine. The heat drains your battery, so be sure to warm it up before you leave from home and set it up on 1st level or 2nd that should keep you comfortable.
So, far I've drove the car for two months, I have 3000 km on it and I am satisfied with it. I've passed my Golf 5 TDI to my wife since she is not driving much. It heats up very fast. It's good to install an engine shield, it cost me 100 Euros (price of the shield+installing at Dacia dealer). What initially bothered me is the fact that you can't choose to pump the warm air directly to the windshield and sides, but if you set up your hot air between 10 a clock and 12 a clock, that solves the problem and your sides won't get wet.
@@danielcolceru3840 ok thanks for the info! Is there a heater/defroster with a timer or how does you warm it up? Do you just start it and put the heater on at full blast?
Is this the 2021 model xc40? Is there also a 2.0litre version of 260hp? Is there a 2022 plugin hybrid option or have they only gone full electric?
This is why the car is selling like rocket in Europe.👍 Dacia has put everything this car, what normal people needs for relaxing every day driving.
Fully agree!
9.139€ in Romania
That’s crazy haha! I thought it was cheap in Belgium, but compared to that it’s not 😂
@@dktestdrives8476 The Romanian Goverment gives you ~ 10.000€
@@dktestdrives8476 Its bout $10 500 in the Donfeng factory where they make it. Gets double the price in Europe.
@@kalczarobert that’s indeed what it looks like, still cheap though in Europe for an EV
I purchased one, there are some umprovement with the final model. In France I paid it 9200€. (!!) I enjoy it very much. You should buy it too.
9.200€??? Wow, that’s insane!
@@dktestdrives8476 probably after government subsidies for EV. In romania this subsidy is around 10'000 € or up to 50% of the original price.
@@QLEK99 that’s indeed a lot 😱
Nice presentation!!!It`s a great car in perfect condition!!!
Thanks! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Could you tell us how is the consumption of the car in a norml driving?
Hi Thomas, I can manage to drive a 7,5l/100km when doing longer trips and driving in normal or eco pro mode. Lowest I got it was 6,9 on a trip of 340km’s. But on an average ride, I’m at 8,5-9 (different drive modes and shorter trips).
@@dktestdrives8476 thank so much for the answer!
Very nice video !Thank you !
Thanks for watching! 🙏🏼
Cracking video mate
Thanks mate!
Nice review man, and damn, i didnt even know about this car 😳 gotta gdt my hands on one to review. 17k i think this is the cheapest ev in the world right?
Thanks bro! It is indeed the cheapest (4-seat) EV. The Citroen Ami and Opel E-rocks or Renault Twizzy for example are cheaper, but are 1 or 2-seats…
Dual Motor not dual engine. The performance package makes the ride a lot firmer according to other reviews because of the low profile tyres on the bigger alloys. So if you prefer a more comfortable ride then get the standard wheels.
