What a cool episode! I grew up with this series in Los Angeles, California. It was great entertainment then and it still is today! Great seeing Al from Happy Days. Thanks for posting 🙂
Sound is always a nice thing when watching a video. I can almost hear it. The video quality is also lacking on almost all of these!
I agree. The problem is that Seasons 2 through 5 were never released on DVD. You may have noticed that most of these episodes were DVR'd from antenna TV stations such as DECADES, MeTV, TVLand (whatever that is) or others years ago. Some are better than others, but none are as good as those Season 1 episodes ripped from DVD. If you have better copies of these, please post them, I would love to see them.
It's funny at the end when he screams about his foot 👣. What did she do to it?
17:51 Unless it's a woman lying about a man and falsely accusing him of assaulting her. Then they can can caught lying, filing false police reports, lying under oath..... and nothing will happen to them as long as they are lying about a man.
Thanks for the post
Elaine, played by Susan Sennett was married to Graham Nash of Crosby, Stills & Nash and had 3 children with him. and another bit of trivia about her, is she walked out of the audition she was doing for the part of Crissy in Three's Company, because she no longer wanted to do "racy" material.

12:32 I wish he had said this to his second wife, Sigrid Valdis. When they were together😢 it's sad to watch the ending
❤❤❤
❤
She looks like Mama Cass
Yes. It is Mama Cass Elliot. Check the description above for the cast lineup.
Bill Walker always playing a Minister, first in To Kill A Mockingbird, The Great White Hope, and in this episode of Love American Style.
These old episodes weren't really that funny, but the actors were always great.
A blast from the PAST!!! When America was ❤REAL❤
What is the background music?
Not sure. Guess we will never know. The closing credits are not to be found for this episode and even if they were they probably wouldn't identify the music. Maybe somebody else can help.
The rich kids house looks like a ritzy redo of The Brady Bunch house
Too bad Desi, Jr. went thru hell in real life = He IS a true survivor!
Jethro Bodine sure matured alot since graduating the 6th grade😁
2nd season, I'm definitely here!
Phyllis Davis, never seems to have anything more than short skits in this series. She never stopped proving that she could act out any part. Yes, I appreciated her allure even before the age of 9 & had no sexual thoughts at all.
She looks and sounds just like her sister, I could never tell them apart.
‘We’re rich! Your tummy is cashable!’ Uh…no, sweetie. She’s rich. You’re not.
The gal in the bakini was as fine as ever there was a woman.
Foxes galore 🙂
So much Hair!! Too much hair. Oh Well get out the shears!!!
I got exhausted with watching this relationship dynamics in about 2 minutes, Definitely , being solitary has its benefits of peace and Quiet and no drama
Thxs❤❤❤

💛 There's no more time friends !! 😊 SALVATION PRAYER...🥳. Dear God I am a sinner and in need of a savior. I acknowledge your son Jesus Christ, who shed his blood, died on the cross and was raised on the third day. I repent. Will you please forgive me of my sins. I forgive those that have sinned against me. Lord Jesus I ask you to come into my heart, live your life in me. From this moment on I am yours. Thank you for giving me forgiveness. Thank you for giving me eternal life. In Jesus name Amen.

Dick Shawn's lack of subtlety would have worked well in stage productions of Aristophanes.
Thanks for the post
ERROR ! "Love and the New Roommate" NOT. ATTENTION, "icogye," This episode is "Love and the Roommate" (first season, 8th episode; Nov. 17, 1969) starring Ted Bessell, Anjanette Comer, John Beck and Diane McBain.
Thanks for pointing this out. Had the "New Roommate" episode ready to upload and somehow uploaded "Roommate" instead. I corrected the title, episode number and description for this post and will post "New Roommate" soon. I appreciate your comment.
@@icogye Great; glad you located it. And a big BTW -- post it in the original 4x3 aspect ratio PLEASE.
@@scvandy3129 O.K. Uploaded the NEW Roommate episode a while ago and I'm pretty sure it is in 4:3 aspect ratio (not sure if it's "original"). Check it out.
@@icogye An annoying glitch, SNAFU -- There it is, "The New Roommate" -- NOT. The typed info designates this "New Roommate," BUT the display image has the same running time, 27:01, noted in bottom right, from "20 hours ago." The frame grab display image is of Ted Bessell, Diane McBaine (in bright pink) and John Beck AND the corresponding 27:01 minutes is STILL "The Roommate" ep. -- NOT "The New Roommate" with Eve Arden and Debbie Watson. Thanks and Good Luck.
@@scvandy3129 Looks like I made the same mistake a second time. I have deleted the "new roommate' episode again and will repost the CORRECT (I hope) one next. (Must have Eve Arden in it!) Wish me luck! Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
Thanks for all these Love American Style uploads. It's puzzling why there were no DVD releases beyond Season 1.
Thx for uploading I love bob crane
Hey icogye--why did you cut the opening credits?
The answer is simple. Two, three, four or even five "episodes" were originally combined into an hour long show. The opening credits were shown at the beginning. This one was number 2 episode on November 6, 1970. This is further complicated by the fact that the "episodes" were combined differently when they went into rerun. I do list the credits in the description for each episode I have posted.
I used to love this show when it first aired I was about 12 years old. I occasionally try to watch reruns but the series sure did not age well, as seen here. This particular episode was strange for Love American Style with an even stranger ending since most episodes had happy endings.
I liked the part where she didn't believe he was a werewolf because they met at a restricted country club. That was edgy humor for the time, because it meant there were no Jews or other minorities.
Is that Willem Dafoe?
Not sure what character you are asking about but looks like no, because It would either be Christopher George as Peter, or Paul Ehrmann as Henry; (check the description).
Do you think you can put a video of Love American style love and the detective with high definition? with Charles Nelson Reilly?
I already posted that one on May 26. Not sure if it is high definition, but it is certainly better quality than "Fountain of Youth" and it's all I've got. Check it out.
Anne Archer was so hot in this.
This series has the worst script writing ever
What a fun one with a twist ending!
A hoot!
Great to see Jim Backus in anything
