Thanks for watching
the cudas i see are never biting they’ll chase my lure but not hit it
Keep trying. Try different colours, and retrieves. Add a twitch here and there. Hope this helps.
Year of the Jacks!! Seems last year you were getting more Macks. I would take it right now, small stuff around here, bite's been slow but starting to pick up should be able to get a vid together soon. Tight lines my friend!
Nice buddy I enjoyed the vid keep up the good work big up to Warren lol big camera man. Ill see you out there 👊
If the rain holds ill tale a look around later. Good shout on the hydro minnow
Ya boy Waron de camera man with de big commentary 😁👊🏽
Went kayaking today, rain nearly drowned us 🌧🌧🌧😮😂
Jealous 😂🎣🌴🏝But I bet you can't catch a Bermuda chub ..on a lure ?😂🐟
Yea it was pissing down. Tomorrow looks like it'll rain nearly all day too :(. Hopefully we can get out and cast somewhere even if we don't make it all the way west in the event it's too wet out. That chubb was a nice surprise lure catch lol

🔥Nice sized cuda, seen a lot of bigger ones recently but they have been finicky to hit, bonefishing been real slow though due to more water activity in the area:(
May bring the fly rod out when it's not too windy. Definitely need to get a bonefish soon.
@@luremongers8544 Yeah I'll probably be back out on Friday for them, but it is so hard to find windows where it is quiet enough for them to be around
It looked like a turbot
It was :). Lots of our fish have a local nickname and an official name that international viewers would recognise more. Sometimes you'd hear me use both.
Well done, and it's a really great video. Another positive thing we can do in Bermuda 🇧🇲
Tried out a 2" squidtrexx for the first time last week in the evening and the white waters were stinging it. Tip for night time - put it up to a light source first, charge up the glow. Well done using the bank - much safer.
May try and find a good spot to use it at night. Ya, that was a pro tip to use that bank! Loving nomad products right now. Bought a madscad and got hit by my biggest bar jack of the year. Thanks for watching and giving solid advice!
What an awesome catch 👏🏽 a beautiful fish and great show of persistence - plus the ‘a few days later..’ I couldn’t help but hear in the SpongeBob show voice 😄 great job again
Awesome video! Congrats on your first Sennit! PS be careful on those rocks I saw that slip 🫢🌊
Great video! 7 minutes in was an exciting moment for sure! Well done 👏🏽 🐟
Hi There! We thank you SO MUCH for your generosity with giving us your catch. We thoroughly enjoyed having it for dinner. Wonderful chatting with you and giving us inspiration for fishing 👊😁
No problem at all! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Good luck with the soft baits also. I'm sure you'd get a nice jack on those at the right time.
Nice with the squidtrexx i havnt hooked up with mines yet. Altho i have the one 1 size upp from the one u used. And i caught my first Jack last week on my Dock Demon. Was fun. See u around
We normally just use the squidtrex on the boat, but the micro one is decent for catching small grunts to use a livebait. If you find some reef or structure from land though and drop it straight down, you never know.
what reel is that
That was a penn pursuing 4. I retired it lol
Getting real good with the baitcaster 👍
Thanks dude!!
Solid trigger my friend nice vid. Were on the struggle bus up here, Stripers are scarce and haven't seen a Blue yet and no bait to speak of. Normally there are herring runs in the spring to bring the fish up into the bay but nada. Gonna try South County Monday, down at the mouth of the bay and some ocean side spots to see if its any better. Might go for some Scup just to get a few filets. Got 4 the other day but no camera, doesn't matter tho they're like catching breams, nothing too exciting. Tight lines!
Seems like no 2 years are the same. Hopefully they start biting over that side soon! I'm really hoping we get on that tarpon action too later this year.
@@luremongers8544 Seriously, I'll keep swinging and we are getting a tarpon this year!! Got a 7" Z man with a 10/0 weighted hook to throw into the fray.
Bet that trigger was really good It's definitely my favourite eating fish, once you get the knife started on them they are actually really easy to fillet because the skin doesn't tear. Hopefully we can cast together sometime this summer once we're down in 2 weeks
Haven't had it in a while so it was a nice treat. Better than I remember. Looking forward to it! Thanks as always for tuning in!
Going to Bermuda in two weeks on a vacation with the family what lures should I pack and what other tips can you offer
I'd say a few spoons, a few jerkbaits that would match minnows or other small bait fish, and a few natural color softbaits paired with 1/4oz or 3/8oz jigheads. Good luck when you come! Jacks and barrucudas are chewing!!
Try and bring some divers or plastics such as z man minnow Z's or rapala x wraps, also definitely bring a fluorocarbon leader gonna need it as the water is super clear this time of year
@@flatsmaraudersfishing thanks what pound should I get
@@luremongers8544 thank you so much not a lot of info online about fishing in Bermuda
@@almeida.dylan08 I fish 15lb braid with 25lb leader and I do just fine in most situations.

Which lure are you using
At the moment, I mostly use a charlies worm twitching shad.
@@luremongers8544 noted thanks mate
Nice catch mate
This is fire guys. Keep it up
LOL giving you double the likes. I used to love hanging under that bridge, try during the tide change when the current slows you can see schools of snapper swimming through, or at least you used to.
I saw pure bar jacks and a few minutes before the horse eye, a 30lb jack crevalle passed under. Who knows what would make him bite
Hey solid jack my friend, looked like a PB no? My GoPro died but they're sending a new one so no content for a bit, tight lines!
Hopefully you're back up and running soon. Can't wait to see what's biting on that side!
@@luremongers8544 Been quiet, no bait around until recently, just got a batch of lures from Nomad do some casting tomorrow.
Well done. Im hunting for a white or blue Jack also. See them everywhere. Its been Cudas and Bonitas for me. Ive also been ready for Hog. Fish as they are everywhere right now also.
I've been finding blues but they're so shy to bite. May try for a hog one Sunday morning.
@@luremongers8544 Hog would be cool that spot I mentioned a few months earlier by somerset bridge on the old railway should be ramping up
Nice one! Next time you’re under there, try landing fish on the grass verge on your right - much easier. Tide was going that way. There’s loads of steel heads out there right now after dark off of T Dock. Happy hunting!
Swung by there to get some pilchards today. T dock was rammed.
Crazy bro good job we will be back down in Bermuda in around 2 weeks been away for school, should be making vids all summer
Awesome. I may join you and see if I can finally get on a bonefish lol.
@@luremongers8544 Yeah that will be cool I usually spend calm days wading and and casting, bound to run into you:) Bought a bunch of new gear and a new bonefish reel (Spinfisher 7) so excited to try that out
So,..I’m back in just over a week,..need to catch you to help me lure fish 🎣😊
Awesome. Gonna head west tomorrow evening. Free most days after 2ish though, so there's plenty of time. Welcome back! And thanks for tuning in!
Arriving on the 9th 🎣
Oh, I read that wrong.
@@luremongers8544 no worries..😂🌴🐟🎣
How big is that lure
About 5.25inches
Fish in a different country and a level up 🔥🔥🔥🔥💪🏾
Awesome vid my friend, 3 snook!!! Nice. I'll be down rigged for tarpon this October tight lines till then!!
I hope they turn up. Either way, we'll be ready!
Nice to see a change, never caught a snook surprised we don't get them in Bermuda🤷♂I guess it's probably the colder water
Could also be the lack of rivers for them to breed and spawn. How sick would that be though!!
@@luremongers8544 Grew up fishing in the Bahamas and the variety there is much better, you're right could be factors like mangroves for breeding and stuff but idk
Fun fact, I was born in Bahamas. Completely foreign to the fishing scene there. One of these days when I go to visit the family I'll make a few vids down there.
Bro finally booked the trip , proud of you bro
It was dope!!
Como llevaste la caña de pescar en el avion?
Son plegables. Llevé uno en mi equipaje de mano y otro extra en mi maleta facturada. :) Muy util y divertido
Costa Rica!! Mi proximo destino
Lo recomiendo!!
Nice change in scenery Raj! I’m hoping to fish in Florida soon. Stay safe, tight lines!
Florida is definitely on the list. Possibly late summer. Thanks for tuning in!!
@@luremongers8544 August will be hella hot but great fishing around that time

Hey mate, where did you buy the boat in Bermuda?
PW Marine
Dude I still got like 3 of those Blue Runner reels!!
It's served us well!!
It’s sooo calm, looks beautiful, thanks again for another great vid 🎣🐟😊
Oh, and what’s the lures your using, fancy getting some for jigging, thanks 🐟🎣😊
Of course. The nomad vertrex, the squidtrex (I like those two because you can work them very slow or dangle them off the bottom), and jibril had an 80gram jig also nomad. Absolutely love their products and they're available locally and more than one place.
@@luremongers8544 thanks I’m getting my gear together 🐟👍🎣😊I will check them out
Sweet Yellowtail snapper... and I just picked up that lure @ 50secs the other day, haven't tried it yet though.
Bonitas love them, let it sink under them and twitch it back up! The bigger one should also work pretty good.
Hey my brother, that wasn't a parrot fish (we in Bermuda call them blue fish) I cant remember the correct name.
puddingwife wrasse, Halichoeres radiatus
Nice, I'll call them that to keep things simple haha. Thanks for tuning in!
Stud Tail Jibril!!! Great vid but you guys gotta grab a hand held bilge pump, making me nervous with all that water slouching around!! Tight lines!
Absolute stud of a Yellowtail! Great job Jibril!! You guys gotta get a hand held bilge pump making me nervous. I know you like jigging but you ever consider putting a grunt or bream on the bottom with your catfish rod? Could be epic. Tight lines.
Live bait is definitely on the list. I'm gonna sort a smoother water extraction tool. Dropping the vibes and hovering them off the bottom worked like a charm by the way. Good shout!
That was a stud yellow never really see them as I don't fish much in the deeper areas and keep it up congrats on 400
I've got a few land based ones but nothing quite like this yet. They are definitely harder to come across unless you're deep.
Wicked bro , y’all killing it on that frog boat
