That is so much money to spend on a mediocre breakfast 😮 What a shame! Hopefully you guys have a much better time at your next dining review 😊
Do you think the food and coffee were what was left and they just didn't want to make fresh since they were closing right after you left? Still no excuse at that price. Love your videos!!
After your trip to Italy...all the food reviews will be lacking...if you compare to the food there...lol...."its good...just not Italy good.." lol
Interesting, we have 10 of us going here in around 3 weeks...excited to see what experience we have
Let us know!
There goes my Zero! Nice shirt! Man I love everything about ‘Ohana but the food. This place can only live off its old reputation for so long before they are going to have to go back to being a quality meal.
Agreed
I just love this family.......I wonder if Aidan has ever looked at Dan and thought to himself.....I know what I am going to look like in my 40's! He looks like an exact replica of Dan while Jennings looks like Leslie!
😂😂
Only watching this one now, about two year late. I listen to the podcast regularly, but only watch the videos when I’m doing the bike at the gym. So glad Dan lost the mountain beard, lol! Leslie hasn’t aged at all!
A long time ago, when I was in college, the dining hall food was mainly bland to our Puerto Rican brothers and sisters. Don't get me wrong, it's good food for college, but bland. One day, the chef went from table to table to ask how they could improve the quality. I asked him about seasoning the food, and he replied that he could put salt and pepper into the meal but could not take it out. He did not take offense to our critiques. My mother sent me a good supply of adobo 😂😂😂😂 that was more than 45 years ago. You hooked me on your Italy trip; you earned my subscription; stay safe.
Thank you!
Would you recommend Cape May or Topolino's for Breakfast?
We prefer Topolino’s
Anyone else remember when that was the Fiesta Fun Center?❤ Best game room EVER!!! (And thank you for the review! Great channel!)
This looks like sooo much fun!!
What a lovely family you are, such a fun video 😊
Sorry, was the carbonara really good or really bad? I couldn't tell from the reaction!
Good
Great vlog! I feel like I'm there with you. :)
Oh man this is great ! Approx how much does something like this costs for 2 people ? Out the door including eating and massive wine consumption. 😂😂
lol, $7k-$8k per person -ish
@@AddictedtotheMouse Very reasonable for what you get, thanks
That’s where we ate in Orvieto ❤️
Reliving our Italy trip last year…pasta is amazing 👍🏼
This is really selling me on adventures by Disney. Looks incredible! Were you planning on doing a recap of the trip at the end? Thanks for sharing!! 😄
We did a recap on the podcast. It was fantastic!
@@AddictedtotheMouse I will definitely check it out, thank you!
I’ve only heard very negative reviews of cultural excursions on lookout. Lookout has few chairs on the beach and many across the dunes with no view, big negative. Also lookout you can’t use floats and has no deterrent to sharks entering area other than jet skis watching. I have also heard several instances of people cutting feet on the large rocks at lookout. It’s still a long walk to the beaches from the tram on lookout and no shade. I think lookout will take several years to be complete.
Yeah, some of that is true. But it’s also still a wonderful place with an amazing beach. Every other beach resort on open ocean has similar problems with limited chairs, natural hazards, and logistics getting to the best spots. Can’t wait to go back!
Went to Yachtsman Steakhouse last night and I am pleased to let you know my Old Fashion came with one ice cube!!! (Delicious!)
🙌🙌🙌
Last time I was there I got the steak. also subpar. My friends didn’t like their food either. Enjoy the drinks and views and apps. Eat dinner on top of the tower. That ribeye for two meal is well worth the price and deeeelicious
Hey Dan and Leslie plus kids I thoroughly enjoyed your adventures via Rome, thank you for sharing it with us all.
This man is so strange
😂
lol, thank you? 😂
@@AddictedtotheMouse don’t listen to em, dans the goat
Dan is awesome!
We always stay at Coronado. Three Bridges used to be on our must go to list every time. The last two times were just average. The loss of the Oaxaca and manchego cheese dip, changing the burger to a worse one, and the downturn in drink quality made us stop going. Even Sangria University was rushed and not worth the money when we went in March. As you said, there’s many more (and better) choices at the resort.
I feel like so many of these hidden gems post-covid have never returned to their former glory. And slowly, but surely, they are removing fan favorites from menus everywhere- everyone loved that Oaxaca dip at Three Bridges and it's gone. Everyone loved the cheese fondue at Territory lounge and it's gone. And the steak puffs at Baseline taphouse, gone. It would be fine if something as good or creative replaced them, but that is sadly not the case. I love a flavorful guac also...can you give pointers where you're currently enjoying it the most on property?
I make my own guac. But, I will occasionally get it from Frontera Cocina, Maya Grill, or Rosa Mexicano
Your review was spot on compared to our last visit
I love my annual pass being a Florida resident I've got the pixie pass for like 25 a month in 6 months I've gone over 30 times the parking itself has paid for the pass , I honestly feel like I've gotten almost 10 times the value of the price on the pass with rough math
This is making me want to go to Italy on an escorted tour--but the "Rushed" schedule is a problem for me. I know they have an itinerary but I think they need to build a little more down time in the schedule (so you could spend more time in places along the way like Orvieto). After all, you are paying a lot to be there. But I like they think of all the details and I am a big foodie so I would love the restaurants and all the items you get to taste! Looks amazing!!
Would you say the amount of walking on your tours are equivalent to walking a full day at Disney? I’m 63 and get tired quickly.
No, not as much as a full day at Disney…at least not as much as most people do. The tour parts would take 2-3 hours and we would go a few miles and then there would be a big break.
When did “all you can eat” become “all you care to enjoy”…. Lol😂 wtf do you need to reinvent the wheel? Did the old phrase offend? Lol
Disney’s words, not ours.
Enchanted Rose put a single large cube in a traditional for me without asking. I thought the formed GF emblem was a nice touch.
Cowfish was the restaurant my family ate at the night before our first Disney cruise! Great memories 🥰
What was the total cost for this trip? I'm guessing this was very expensive and this is why people are in debt or don't want to pay back their students loans.
Thanks so much for another terrific video of Italy. It looks absolutely amazing… but needs more shopping time!!
Jackson local watching this in 2024! 🥳😂😉
This is bringing back so many memories of our trip to Italy, Greece and the Adriatic coast a few years ago. You are 100% correct about Orvieto. We had booked a private transport from Rome to Montepulciano in Tuscany and asked them to stop in Orvieto along the way. We only had a few hours there, and it convinced us that we need to come back and stay at least for a night or two. The Duomo is breathtaking inside. If you ever go back, please find the time to explore it. We bought quite a few pieces of Orvieto pottery, and every time I use a piece it makes me smile.
Hi Dan and Leslie!!!! Thanks so much for bringing back wonderful memories of my trip to Italy years ago!! IMHO Italy is the most beautiful country in Europe!! What a fantastic experience for Aidan and Jennings!! Always looking forward to your amazing videos!!
🙏🙏🙏
When I worked at Sysco HQ we would get the best olive oil and balsamic vinegars and slurp them. This on the his off the his style is lot for us. we insist on at least one full day to just hang in the park with locals
We did the combined Colesium Forum Pallatine Hill tour. What is amazing is these are real places. The Senate building where they murdered Caesar, the house of the vestal virgins, the underground mechanics ‘back stage’ at the colesium, Lydia’s house. She was Augustus’ mother who murdered everyone in I Claudius. And another day we took the subway out to the movie studio where fellini filmed all his movies and lived on sound stage 5. As part of that we walked around on the fake HBO Rome forum while in real Rome.
We really enjoyed Cowfish last year - I don’t eat sushi but hubby does so was good to eat somewhere we could both enjoy 😊 thanks for sharing we enjoyed watching ❤️
GREAT VIDEO! I now added Italy to my bucket list! I eagerly await the next video....
This was a terrible review. It was all about you guys then the food. Show me the foooooodddd
lol, did you miss the shots of the food??? We’ll try and stay out of the next video 😂😂
When will you post more videos of your trip to Italy
Every Sunday at 4pm EST 🤗
I ate here for the first time a few months ago and I was disappointed. We technically had 2 servers, but it seemed a little unorganized. The crab rangoon dip was amazing. But the sushi was just okay and the burgushi was fine. I also wasn't too crazy about the cocktails. And it was overpriced. I probably won't be back.
Been once and thought it was awful, sadly Cowfish is not for us, we would not return, we find most of the places to eat at Citywalk are very sub par compared to the offerings at Disney Springs.
Love Cowfish. We eat there every time we go to Universal.
Totally agree Cowfish is very hit or miss, loved it and next time hated it. You guys need to do Resort dinning at Universal, would like to know some options.
Found a video I have not seen yet! ❤
My son was just there in June with his school choir for an international choral festival and to perform at the Vatican. he loved the food and especially the gelato.
