Congrats on the P1 at Oulton Dude! - & that's P1 in Championship standings too now isn't it? - you're seriously dividing my BTCC loyalties now I know you race 1/10 too ;) Best of Luck at Croft (& Eastbourne if before) & all the Best, & keep it coming! :)

Quality video dude - properly on the pace those wee cars and looks a great track 🙂 Tyre warmers on an RC car, but put some stuff on the tyres first and then use kitchen roll between that and the tyre warmer is the kind of beardness level to appreciate even if you know very little about RC cars. 😎

I hope there is mini sensor pads and mini cameras around 15% of the track. Then judges of fact around the rest that might catch 1 in every 6 cars that do track limits. 😉😁 Another great video Jake. I'm not sure having the reactions of a cruise liner trying to do a 3 point turn would allow me to wobble around 1 lap with the speeds of these cars! 😅 - Scott

This was my joint favourite touring car era due to the variety and competitiveness of the cars. I grew up with the fantastic racing of the cossie, beamer vauxhall era of Rouse, Soper Cleland et. al. BTCC almost died due to the withdrawal of manufacturers but seems to be making a decent comeback. Still muscling these old saloons around is still more entertaining. ❤

Not sure where abouts you are in Scotland, the only on road track is at Stonehaven near Aberdeen and it is massive, triple size of Eastbourne. The next closest one is Carlisle but obviously that is over the border but we (I'm a regular) do get quite a few from Scotland who make the trip down.

Hi Jake, congrats on leading the BTCC, really enjoying the season so far with the three of you in the mix. With the Ride FWD tyres they work better if you clean them with brake cleaner Wurth is very popular and warmer temp is usually between 60deg and 70deg for around 20-25mins. Normal diff weight is 300k or 500k it's unusual to go that thin on a FWD TC it can make the car very loose especially in chicanes. Car looked decent in final but always worth trying heavier oil if you have a spare diff The Ride tyres are a bit unusual in that either brand new tyres are fast or really really really worn(slick) tyres are faster both can be made to work but require very different car setups. I only run slick as the track I run at is quite tight and twisty with a lot of fast changes of direction
