  Go to steam and then get half life 2 deathmatch and then when in the main menu click find games and I normally just play the one with the most players and then join and then your playing deathmatch.

  @yo-dz2hf most players on these fastpath servers are bots that are stealing real players' nicknames. Sometimes, they also chat with pre-scripted messages, creating an illusion of live gameplay with real people. This proves the dead internet theory once again. Previous comment contained a link and most likely was automatically deleted by youtube.

  Hl1 multiplayer is also quite active. There's always servers with +20 people regularly. Not surprising considering how well made these games are.

  @@Ages_of_domination Gmod is dead, its servers are dying & content uploads are relegated to nextbot pngs or hyper-realistic brainrot. CS 'players' (addicts) just like Dota and so forth will remain and keep the relevant numbers.
