gosh, that’s really outdated information from 20 years ago from the WHI. Actually, the data show that the estrogen only arm of the study demonstrated a decreased risk of breast cancer. Please read estrogen matters and get your information updated if putting out videos the information needs to be up-to-date with studies done within the past five years.

Mom just had ischemich stroke 2 weeks ago..she's back home doing good. She had great treatment by staff around the clock..7 years before UF hospital saved her life removing cancer off her kidney while she could not have blood transfusions..excellent staffs !!

OK I had this procedure done today. The staff and doctor were awesome. Now to the important part, lol. The needle that they put in your thyroid is very fine for the numbing agent. I will admit that I did feel a quick pinch of pain from the numbing needle, but it was so quick and bearable. After that, you don’t feel anything and they did three more needles to take cells from three different parts of the Nodule I have. I didn’t feel any of it after the first shot for getting numb. I went in the room at 1:00pm and out by 1:25pm. Most of that time was prep, and a brief rest afterward. The actual procedure took maybe 5 minutes tops. Now it has been about four hours and yes my neck is a little sore when I turn one way and I was told that it would be sore for a couple days. But no bandages needed when I left there. So to sum it up. It’s not scary and once you get that numbing shot, you’re good to go.

Dios contigo, si sentirás dolor pero es algo que se puede tolerar, no es mucho aunque la molestia dure un par de horas, en mi primra biopsia me dolió como 4 días el cuello, y mi cuerpo no respondía bien no sé porqué, en la segunda, no me dolió el cuello, pero si los dientes, el oído y mucho y mi cuerpo como si nada, así que nada está escrito en cuanto al dolor.

Thank you for this! I just found out I had a 9mm nodule with moderate to severe abnormalities found and I have to have a biopsy done. I’m nervous but this helped me understand the procedure. Thank you and good luck to all that has thyroid concerns!

My mom said and I remember when I was real little- you couldn’t buy soda, pop, at the grocery stores. Only place you could buy it was at a restaurant or from a “soda jerk.” So it was meant as a treat like ice cream. They didn’t sell ice cream either in the grocery stores you had to go to an ice cream shop. People over consume now a days so having a lot of sugar is not the issue. It’s people over consuming the product.

Justo hoy me hice la biopsia, tengo un nódulo en la parte izquierda de la tiroides, solo me molestó cuando introdujeron la aguja, el proceso es corto y soportable, estaba muy nerviosa pero con la ayuda de los Dres. me calmé y el proceso salió bien.

On 14 May 2024 I got my biopsy done on between my neck and chest part around the colar bone I was terrified as hell and was also watching all these videos Then my turn came and they take me to the doctor and he talked to me and saw my neck throungh ultrasound and then he gave me a injection to numb the area at the spot it was just like a normal injection and pain remain for 6-7 seconds and after that i don’t feel any pain and my biopsy was done in 15-20 min in total and they all were very nice so guys dont worry and get it done for your better health❤️

i had one of these done and the only pain i really felt was when they put the numbing needle in. it felt like a sharp pinch. during the procedure i felt very mild discomfort and after it was over i only had a sore throat for a day.

I've only ever drank sugar made colas, fatty milk and cream, ice cream from real cream, real butter on my bread, meat etc. I despise and avoid sugar free and light products... And guess what, I weigh 69 kilos and I am 178 cm (5'10" 152 lbs). My body mass index is around 21.8. And yes I am in my late thirties by now, so it is not just "youth" anymore. So what gives? Where does this story come from that sugar or fats are a problem? Most fat people I know eat a lot of the sugar free, diet and light stuff. They work in reverse, it is a joke.

A freak out is only appropriate if you need a cystoscopy to have it removed. Especially if you are male due to the anatomical differences

yo tenia un bulto visible en el cuello.... de 4 o 5 centimetros (hace ya mas de 20 años) el doc que hizo la biopsia.. no uso ultrasonido... ni medicamento para adormecer... ni yodo simplemente metio la aguja.. se sintio un piquetito... en menos de 1 minuto ya estaba la muestra no hubo dolor

Done this done that been through multiple meds. None works only way to cure your depression, start jogging. Stick to new diet routines, and overall let all your negative thoughts be switched with positive reinforcement thinking. Just be kind and understanding. Stop eating junk food, candy, and just all around crap “food”. I lived with anxiety, depression, depersonalization, de-realization, for so many years! Once I actually started getting more active and eating more consciously and being courteous and nice to other people. Overtime everything just stopped.

Went in for an ultrasound today. Looked this up seeing as it's the next step. Thanks to everyone who commented their experience, it's made me feel much better.
