Det fanns gott om utrymme. Tror att brobanan är minst 50 meter över vattnet i mitten. Valde denna bro delvis för att det går att landa ifall motorn stannar. Vet inte om de möjligheterna finns för Askøy bron.

I think it's absolutely awesome. A game changer! I have the big battery which gives me 40-50 minutes of flying.

@@Seneslau07 I think I managed to get it quite well balanced. My naked weight is a little over 80 kg. There's no way I could measure the hang angle exactly because it's different when flying to when doing a hang test. It also depends on the posture you are having at the moment. I got some papers regarding the BMS but other than that you need to check online. Most of it was quite easy so I wouldn't worry about it.

@@Seneslau07 Yeah it's definitely possible to catch thermals and theoretically stay up for 10 hours. Just be aware of the potential dangers of flying mid day. I find it a lot more difficult to find the thermals and stay in the core while flying paramotor compared to when paragliding. But I've done it and it sure does work. 🙂

03:45 - Hawk fly-by at 3,000’ that was special. Talk gently to them sometimes they fly with you just cuz they get bored too. Never fly directly at a bird of prey, that would be a sign of aggression, similar to dogs. Approach them slowly or let them approach you. This one was friendly maybe a bit surprised to see you there, not pissed at all. Hah. Subscribed!

They are vultures. They never attack paragliders unlike some others birds of prey. I guess they wouldn't mind eating a pilot that has crashed however. :) You can use the vultures as an indication of thermals. Sometimes they fly together with you in the thermal and sometimes they get scared and go find another one.

Jag tror inte någon av vingarna var nära att ge upp. Det var nog piloterna som var i störst fara. :) Kursen var som väntat intressant och lärorik. Full stall var inte så otrevligt som jag hade hört.

To be fair you can't really see the curve of the Earth from this altitude. On the other hand you only need to go up a few hundred meters to see clear evidence that the Earth isn't flat.

Taket är 600 msl och så jag ligger ofta strax under det med viss marginal så att ett eventuellt motorstopp inte blir så dramatiskt.

its a beautiful setting...you do hold onto your risers quite a bit, which is not good flying practice. We get better feed back through the controls...happy flying!

Thanks! This was basically straight out of flying school. I knew back then I wasn't supposed to hold on to the risers but apparently I did it anyway sometimes. I've stopped doing that now. At least I wasn't holding on to them very hard and I still had contact with the brakes. 🙂

Great little xc. Flown there a few times. Always busy. Always wings in trees and bushes. Never been lucky to have conditions that good. Did the right thing to get away from the madness. Hope retrieve was easy.

I counted six paragliders in the vegetation at the same time. A crowded takeoff is never boring. :) Retrieve was easy. Climbed over a barbed wire fence and walked to the restaurant nearby. It was closed so I waited outside for an hour before I got picked up.

Tack! Termikflygning i berg är det absolut bästa med skärmflygning i min åsikt. Och det blir bara roligare hela tiden allt eftersom man blir skickligare och utökar flygmöjligheterna. :)
