  All your questions have the answers in the caption!!! Yes, this Krithi (song) was written by Muthuswami Dikshitar one of the Trinities of Carnatic music in the 18th century. This song was sung in the temple of Jambukeswarar temple (Thiruchanapalli Tamil Nadu ). This temple is considered as one of the pancha (five) bhuta stahalas - Earth, air, fire, space, and water. This temple represents water. It is believed that Goddess Parvati herself got inception into cosmic truths from Lord Shiva in this holy place, like a student from a respected Guru. Thus, this temple is highly significant as Goddess Akhilandeshwari and Lord Shiva are depicted as student and guru respectively.   CHARU is as brilliant as she is always. Her manodharmam and mastery over the instrument are unimaginably extraordinary. So much so, that even the very brief Ragalapanam of "DWIJAVANTI" here is replete with all the refined 'Bhavams' of this ragam. Added to these, her cheerful countenance, pleasant disposition and soulful presentation ... all make beautiful CHARU look like a Goddess playing. That's why she is my most beloved violinist.I wish her all the best. The percussion support is also excellent and extremely extra ordinary..
