    You definitely have the 3D modeling aspect of Revit mastered - how you keep track of which reference planes you are using is amazing with so many! Nice work.

    Only problem is the exit of the lader is restricted du to the cage, maybe add a exit side or something or make ik stop below a sertain level? Great video!!

  • @ThomRVT
    @ThomRVT14 күн бұрын

    You can add a parameter for top offset. And create exit door for side exit or deduct top offset from ladder high for front exit.

    Thanks for the great videos... I want to ask why you need to create reference planes and lock the geometry to them while the family is not parametric.. why you simply create the forms and save the additional steps.. I'm sure you r doing it for a reason but I'm not sure why..

  • @ThomRVT
    @ThomRVTАй бұрын

    Yes. You can create by mass. But mass is can't combine into every family.

    I'm trying to re-create your model. But when I I place the line based model of the (turnbuckle )body onto the reference line which is angled I am getting error messages. It won''t rotate to the same angle as the refernce line. Let me know please. And btw yourr channel looks good with those awesome videos. Thanks in advance and greetings from Indonesia.

  • @ThomRVT

    You can try and use face base model. Face base is easier to place on reference line.

    Hello everyone! I found a solution that helped me do exactly the same as the teacher. And even all the parameters work very well for me. In the formula I had to double it by 2 for a DN =12. After that, when I set all the formulas; I could get it. I hope you understand what I'm talking about. This teacher is very good, he makes a great contribution. I hope God multiplies what he is doing. Thank you!!!!!!
