thank you so much for this!! i wonder if there's a way to map it so that it doesn't act as a keyboard (i.e. you don't need to turn on the mouse pointer and can just use the L joystick to select menu buttons)?

As a Dedede main, this matchup is in favor of DK due to the legal competitive stages (which most of them are platform stages.). But Omega stages, Dedede definitely shines because although Gordo is the worst projectile in the game, it can be used more freely against very hard matchups.
You may have found a sick Sheik in Elite Smash, but the turds coming out of my bootyhole are so large that I think they're gonna clog the toilet and I don't have a plunger

It's an official Nintendo Smash logo GameCube controller! Difference is I have lubed triggers, a horizontal and vertical snapback capacitor, and a tactile Z button.

@@dudewswaggames I feel like any controller modder should be able to do this kinda stuff as it's all fairly common nowadays! Definitely had it done for me. Should generally cost around $100 or so if you're including the cost of a new controller.

I've mained DK since 2008. Been along for the whole rollercoaster ride, including when he didn't even have an aerial down-b lol. I just have always enjoyed playing DK! And like trying to push the boundaries of what's possible with him.

Oh I'm just rotating the left control stick! Be sure to not mash the face buttons while doing so for best results.

against lvl 3 cpus, the dash attack to a perfect f-air off stage is my favorite DK combo. If only it worked in real matches lol

If it’s just a base move that was the answer all along how come it took 6 years to find it? (Genuine question)
Because there are hardly any good Sheik players. It was between Swift and WebbJP and luckily they stuck around long enough for me to figure it out. And tbh this new strat I've been using also works against Joker, another matchup I've struggled pretty hard with. Their frame data is too fast for DK to keep up with normally. But by abusing the auto cancel frames and shield safety of short hop fastfall n-air you can just barely put on enough pressure to keep up in neutral. It took me being overwhelmed and trying every strategy under the sun to figure out that baiting and putting on fake pressure with a lingering hitbox like n-air is the only way to keep up with their speed and frame data.

Yep! It's reactable, even online. You can tell because I only pressed the B button once rather than mashing it and hoping. Which tbh, still works online lol.
I respect the homie stock, i don't understand why people are so against it
So like, we're tryharding back and forth. And I know the buffering online can be brutal at times so sometimes d-air misinputs with Sheik can happen. Also not that it matters but there's GSP on the line. I wanted it to be an even playing field. I guess they took it as disrespectful like I didn't need all my stocks to win idk. Or that they're training as if it's tournament and want to feel the proper punishment for their mistakes.
@@DKwill maybe i think i have a different mindset i like the thrill in playing against the player rather then the thrill in winning. I also would find it funny if someone actually homie stock in a tournament

The reason I do it (in my competitive mind) is that you doubted my shot of being able to make the come back after my mistake. If you were being a homie I appreciate the thought but I’m fairly certain you wouldn’t do the same in tournament, it’s just a matter of preparation for some.

How did you b reverse the winding giant punch after cargo throw
Drift forward, tap back once, let the stick go to neutral position, then quickly press B once. After that you usually wanna double jump cancel out of it into a quick b-air.
And this is proof that understanding your character to thr fullest is more important than just picking a toptier

I sessioned against this Sheik for 6 hours trying all different playstyles. Turns out focusing on n-air in neutral is what works best vs Sheik and that's what I'm showcasing here.
