No you cant clip ceilings or foundations together on official. p.s. Half way through i noticed i have to make it 2 pillars taller because I'm not building on a hill so the ground is pretty even and the front courtyard was already ground when i went down by 3.... So now I'm restarting the entire build. On the Brightside i still have all the structures so at least i don't have to go farming for more until i get back to where i am...

You should try to run water pipes up those skinny pillars. Might help hide those little pillars.
That's an interesting idea, I think waterpipes arent in the game anymore arte they? They used to be in ARK evolved, but were removed in Ascended I think

Love your builds and the videos you create from them. Your voice reminds me a lot of "Biffa" plays Indie Games" from City Skylines videos. Fresh and positive. Recommend trying sandi Modern Plaster structure mod. The white beams and pillars pop in any combination and they work on official.

It's nice to see the extent of what can be done without mods, especially with the new additions. This made me realize that for some reason I barely use paint
I do like to try my best not to use any mods whatsoever in my builds so its accessible to everyone XD, You should 100% use paint, it can do some great stuff 😆
These cinematics are always incredible ! :-) As for the bed, just remove that croocked "ceiling" above it. It'll look the part with posts alone.

@KiraKitty2 Hey! Well my channel started as a general gaming channel. If you go back in time on my videos you'll find like pokemon videos, some other random games 😂😂. But it didn't take off until I uploaded an ark video on the week Ascended was released. I record using OBS, free software. For video ideas/build ideas I just come up with most from my head but get inspiration from real life architecture and concept art. I edit using a programme called Premiere Pro but a really good free software to use is Davinci resolve. I would say go for it! There's probs lots of videos out there that can help u in terms of setting up obs and teaching you how to edit. ☺️

Im building this atm and... i dont wanna complain but can you upload this without the errors or cut them out xD Its extremely confusing to build from a tutorial and do the same failures just to correct them after. And maybe you can add some kind of a materiallist and how big the area is gonna need to be :)
Hey no please do honestly, its great to get feedback! The funny thing is, on a video a while back I did the opposite, i did cut out some errors but then it confused people more and i had a few people saying just keep it in 😅🥲, I think on this one though you're right I could have cut it out. A lot of people ask for material lists too so it's something I will need to get better at doing, it's just very time consuming to count it all ☠, i dont know how other creators do it haha
@@LolsAtLance i thought that, ye its rly a lot work to count that xD I would be to lazy to do that. Its a nice build anyway :) Just the part with the stairs doenst work in official servers. I put 2 stairs, a ceilings and a ramp to solve this. Im almost done. Btw im just using metal structures to use custom cosmetics to decorate after its done. Hope its coming out well 😄

I think a good way to hide the main pillar is to build an elevator on it. Don't connect directly onto the cage, build it 1-2 wall below, then build a platform around the tree. The elevator should go up to that platform, then 1-2 stairs from the platform to the cage. That would create the illusion that the tree is the main pillar.

I came across your channel a little while ago and I am in love with your tutorials! They are really helpful and I appreciate you stopping after you finish a step and talk through your ideas and the next step. I really adore medieval fantasy style builds so I would love to see more of these in the future! Maybe you can build a library or book store in the same style? For trading and selling blueprints!

That build looks so cool reminds me off the houses of attack on titan only much more cozy that garden brought me on an idea mabey do a bonsai garden at your Japanese build should be doable with such mods. I realy enjoyed the build ❤

@@LolsAtLance My buddies and I are on the center and we set up a cluster, so we're moving to the island this week. I just asked everybody what they thought about setting up in the red woods and doing a network of treehouses. First project will be setting up your aviary! I love that it isn't bound to the tree platform. THe treeplatform has it's place, but there's something neat about this style. I'm going to connect my aviary closer to the tree so it looks more like it's attached to the trunk than hanging. Hoping that will allow my to hide more metal pillars within the tree, and paint them to match. Thanks for the inspiration!

Looks amazing, instead of pillars from the ground could you use a tree platform and build down from that (then can use platform to land dragons on) cover it with foliage to make it blend in with the tree
A couple other people suggested having the tree platform, I honestly didn't even know you could do that 😅, dangling it off that, I'll have to try it 😆😆

I think I'll build this when the full Ark Mobile game comes out this year on Christmas. I'm not sure if yall know, but the full game of ark with all the maps and builds and tames will be coming out on Christmas soon. Im so hyped!! XD Hopefukly WildCard wont back up the release this time. 😢😅😊

so cool, i wish ark had like a per play living type continuality... shops, food, work, and you can contract yourself out depending on the dinos and skill you have. you could be a chef, carpenter ( and build things for people ) butcher, hunter, organizer, blacksmith etc etc etc. Love the birdcages. I Imagine it as part of like an online server community (never been part of one, wouldn't know where to start in that scene but yeh just leads to awesome imagination scenarios. LURVE IT! x
That would be super fun! I guess there must be Role Playing Servers out there that do something very similar to this! When I open up my community server i'll try have some roleplaying aspects to it XD

You absolutely can do this on official servers 😆 the only thing you can do is plants, but could always do loads of crop pots instead with species X plants. All my builds are official friendly 😁
First off, I love the background music, I know it's Pokémon Colosseum or XD Gale of Darkness. Second, what a great idea I would love to see if you can get two hanging from a tree platform that hides in the branches.
Yes you're correct it is indeed xD, the main menu music from Colloseum, not sure if its in Gale of Darkness too as i've never played it 😬, Someone else suggested this! I have no idea if it will work, i'll have to experiment at some point 😄😁

It would have been nicer to have some elvish style music like lord of the rings style. This back to the future music kind of takes away from the elvish style building.
@lizzfrmhon honestly, I looked for some elvish style music, but I couldn't find anything I liked 😮💨 I had stuff from lord of the rings but it was being copyrighted. So I gave up and went to my usual music 😅😅. I could have tried harder though to be fair!
