I just finally activated my license under a brick-and-mortar brokerage here in WA and am starting all the NWMLS training soon, along with an 8wk course brokerage training program built from Ninja Selling. Door knocking and Cold calling is how I want to start out to generate my leads and to, as BC has said in the past, market yourself. My only hesitation is because I am new and starting out. I don't want to persuade people into hiring me for my services without being able to explain details and not appearing professional

What I do, which I found has good reactions. Is making a clever situational joke. Example: Sometimes I see girls dressed up in a classy formal way on their phone so id say "Closing a million dollar deal I see, and looking good doing it" something like that haha. Last thing its the WAY you say it as well, which is FAR more important :)

I’ve noticed that once you’ve learned, you need less volume to achieve the same results. It almost feels easy after a certain threshold. And you need to find a reason to go out and actually do it consistently. Whether it’s personal achievements or for somebody else.

I was forced to get a Sales Job in 2008-9 when the RE Market Tanked. I made tons of calls, but rarely got to speak with a decision maker, mostly their admin assistants, voice mails, emails never responded to. I remember thinking "FSBOS are so much better. These people need the service I sell, and literally put their direct phone number in an advertisement." It changed my whole perspective and made me WANT to call FSBOs and do whatever it takes to make Real Estate my career again.

I tried getting into sales and as I started researching it and talking to different people about it. I had more confidence in just how I go about my entire day and yes there is also a direct link to how you approach women, it boost confidence. I want to be car salesman and I also was going to do the door to door thing as well, but my parents want me to get a corporate office job since I went to school for tech, but I just want to do tech for fun and do sales right now. So they said if I go back to school the deal is I go back to school and they will help pay for an appt, the minute I get into my own appt what I am actually going to do is put school as a tertiary commitment and find a sales job.
