  It's always the music that explains things- that takes you out of being just a kid, thinking life is all adventure, then you find there’s a hard lesson underneath all that adventure- you come into life alone, you go out of it alone, and you’ll be alone a lot of the time you’re on this earth. And what tells it? The music. This serene style of jazz is called "west coast cool" and was popularized by Miles Davis in the fifties. Davis played with a wonderful lyricism, delicate, cool, unsentimental, a sound that described the inescapable loneliness of humanity. Davis’ trumpet style was spare, cold, haunting and stark. It speaks to the solitary person in each of us, soothing us with the knowledge that we ALL are alone.

  I’ve broke my wife’s heart because of things I did and made her feel ugly and uncomfortable. I wish I never did what I did and help her open her eyes and show her how much I truly love her. All I can do now is listen to this jazz which I hope it calms me down. Guys, if you have a girlfriend/boyfriend, and wife/husband, make them feel like the only loved person in your own world and show them how happy they make you. ♥️
