Wow, maybe cheaped out on parts on this now? My hydraulic pump is metal . I purchased this for my '96 Cobra which I work on almost every weekend during driving season a few of years ago. I watched the company's vids, YT vids, went on forums, downloaded the current manual before I put it together and read it line by line while putting it together, did not want to guess at putting this together, this is a serious piece of kit to use for your car and made sure I took my time at putting it together (used teflon tape, 5 wraps). Pump at the rear. I have had absolutely zero issues with it using it approx. 35-40 times including friends cars. It's like any piece of equipment, check before using and do a seasonal maintenance check (check fittings tightness, pump level, air pressure in cylinders) No need to rush putting it together. Do your homework if your going to invest in one. Thoroughly happy with mine from day one, maybe i got lucky?...LOL

Of course!! Thank you so much for the kind words! Glad it worked out well
Every single "negative" video I have watched on this product was due to user error.
It’s a little bit of both.
Star pattern is only when you are installing...not removing
Good practice to always do it so that you always do it
WOW, THEIR IS AN EASIER WAY TO THAT.
Let’s hear it
@@BROCKgoFAST I used what I’ll call like a plastic pry bar, to get the emblem off the side of my Maverick, it came off, relatively easy. It did leave the clips behind. then I used my thumb and forefinger to pinch them, from in the opening and they just popped right out. I can’t seem to find the link to post a picture I would. I didn’t mean anything offensive on your post, sorry.
@@donaldredline975 oh no worries I didn’t take it negatively. Can’t use a plastic pry bar on these as you risk scratching a very expensive vehicle. Don’t want to break clips either, these prices can be re-sold
@@BROCKgoFAST use a microfiber cloth against the body and the prybar.
I took a week and ended up using a pipe wrench
lol I couldn’t believe it was that difficult
Thanks for the vid just got through tlx model
No problem and good luck!! 😁
What lug nuts are you using? Looks awesome!
Thanks!! They are the OEM Black lug nuts. Its a factory option
@@BROCKgoFASTthanks!! After seeing your videos, I ordered a set for my Zl1 1LE. Should be a few more weeks yet, but before I ordered the black OEM lug nuts, I wanted to make sure that’s what they were! Have a great day! Appreciate the fast reply.
@@briantack3838 awesome!! You will love them
Shelby all the way , it’s sad that the Shelby is better sounding stock than the Camaro which has an exhaust etc to make it loud lol
Only the R sounds that good from factory. BUT it’s pretty much an aftermarket exhaust from factory.
Did you remove the (DENALI) letters on the side? Asking bc i know they make black overlays for the letters that would look good as well!
No I went ahead and got the OEM GMC Black side markers that come with the black lettering. More expensive but worth it
When my Son was little I would tell him that if mommy asks what we did, tell her guy stuff. Then I heard her whispering in the kitchen and he said loudly... GUY STUFF!
Hahahah love it!! That’s what it’s all about
No need to remove all the wires. Just take the brackets off, take the nut off the bottom left of the tank, spin the battery up and counterclockwise and it's out. The black cover has a clip towards the fender.
Better said than done lol
@@BROCKgoFAST I just changed mine for the second time. Shame the engineers did what they did.
@@harryheist5278 I agree. We have a Silverado as well and it’s the same damn thing
This was painful to watch. I stopped when he started removing wires and not the wire block.
@@vaNovaStig Gotta figure it out somehow lol // Can't learn until you try it and there are more ways to do things
Wish the Sierra’s badges looked like this
I believe you can get custom ones that are all black like these are
Wow. The major problems you had were nothing at all. I hope when you have real problems in life you have a good support system.
lol it’s all about the content. I don’t like dealing with issues on an almost brand new boat. Especially when they are such stupid things that fail to
Thanks for filming this! You were correct in your pondering about that bus bar. No need to disconnect all those posts. Just disconnect the positive terminal and unclip the bottom of that bus bar bracket from the battery. Like you stated, three clips. Then you can just push the assembly (wires and all) away from the area and pull the battery
Awesome. Thank you!
Right hand drive feels more normal and natural thats why every car was right hand drive until Henry Ford changed it out of spite against his competition and even they said no one in their right mind will ever buy a left hand drive car. But they did and dont know any better
Getting to 3rd quickly in a track day situation is soooo tough though
Awesome, glad to hear it is working out for you.
I don't think you got lucky. Like you I read all directions/instructions available prior to assembly. I have had ZERO problems with the 7000TL. Only thing I did outside of the instructions was to add some roller ball transfer bearings to make it easier to move in the garage.
I have purchased roller balls as well, haven't put them on yet, car is still up on the jack. A few vids on YT on this as well.@@turbojeff
A V8 in a s30 is sacrilegious.
Lol
