  You should mention the plasma shrimp and psg combo, because 2-3 psg and plasma shrimp basically renovates half of your health, which is nice. (I apologize in advance for flooding your comments and yapping so much and also criticizing your work, but I have nothing better to do right now, and I will mention this again, you are a great KZreadr and this video is amazing, so take these with a grain of salt)

  Roll of Pennies is pretty bad, and your ranking is basically perfect, but it does have 1 niche use, which is in multiplayer, where you can use hellfire turnicure and then the roll of pennies will give you so much gold that you can loot the entire stage.

  Bison steak is deserved, but I don’t know if you know this, but before, bison steak was called “fresh meat” and it increased your health regeneration after killing an enemy. So this item was purposefully turned into garbage, for no reason.

  Power elixer is more or less just a way to keep your delicate watches from breaking, as the power elixer gets consumed before any watch’s break, and unlike watches, power elixir is only used once when below 25 % health, instead of the delicate watches where all stacks are used up when below 25% health. And also it fucking sucks when mithrix takes it

  Topaz brooch is really good on defenseless survivors and/or survivors who kill a large amount of enemies at once, like captain or arti. Topaz brooch is more or less monster tooth but it is way easier to use and more reliable, which is everything you need early game. Late game it falls off hard and such, but I don’t think it deserves this place on the list. Fun fact, mathematically, topaz brooch is the most common item in the entire game. (Good tier list though) (This might be baised cause I run Diablo captain with shock beacon, and my Diablo kills right before I kill, making my health go to the extreme)

  tbh I feel like me and you do not end up in the same encounters because the bosses are always leaving me at low health, I feel like the enemies are only their to put pressure.

  some bosses are definitely more pressing than others. i think imp overlords are a good example of a boss that can really suffocate you and keep you on your toes, more so than horde enemies. other bosses like stone titans or beetle queen? nah

  Sorry for the length of this comment in advance. Personally I can't agree with APR being on this list because of the way damage scales multiplicatively, it can massively increase your damage against bosses, and calling fighting bosses situational is kind of a weird take when we assume that a normal run takes 6 stages (so 5 bosses) and ends up fighting mithrix on the sixth stage. It's damage that works very consistently on every single survivor unlike for example crowbar, which is very survivor/equipment dependent and doesn't work great against mithrix (except when you have massive burst). If you find an APR printer or just pick up a few on your run it'll greatly help out during mitrhix. Would I rather have a watch? That depends, if I have 5 watches and no APR, an APR is gonna make much more of a difference in my damage against mithrix than 1 more watch, if I don't have a lot of damage at all I'd rather have a watch. So APR is definitely more situational but damage still is damage and APR can be a huge damage increase. From the perspective of eclipse 8, PSG is actually a pretty valuable item. The regen time means you don't need to heal the health back, which is great because healing is halved on e5 so not having to invest in healing any more is always appreciated. Extra health is pretty nice to have on eclipse 8 because you will be losing max health during stages which is especially important on the moon. Also the downside of it not regenning when you get hit in the 7 second cooldown shouldn't really be an issue because you should be constantly dodging on e8 anyways and on e8 you'll generally invest all scrap in movement, damage and dmg reduction anyways, which makes it even less of a problem. I can kinda understand the placement from a monsoon perspective, but I feel like when playing optimally, psg is pretty strong. (also if you print a lot of psg you get kinda ridiculously healthy, not always great but if you don't have a lot of movement and dmg reduction etc it's really good). I agree with the other takes, I feel like key is kind of a weird pick for this list because of encrusted key but I can see where you're coming from. Anyways, I will be uninstalling my game now because I found a steak printer, cheers.

  you’re definitely right, and i haven’t played all the way up to e8 yet so i might feel differently after getting there. high key a lot of the lower items on the list i don’t even think are bad, i just had a really hard time putting anything else in their place. thanks for the comment!

  Actually, that’s incorrect, srmor piercing rounds works on all of the non red HP bosses. Its one of the greatest weapons, being an extra 1.2 multiplier for ALL damae ahainst Mithrix

  i don’t think that’s true. i tested it for myself, and armor piercing rounds don’t work against naturally spawning bosses. it does work against mithrix, which is very good. i said in another comment that i don’t think they’re bad at all, just pretty situational and hard to get much out of in a non-looped run.

  APR rounds, btw are very useful, since the later the run is, the more damage you get for the bosses showing up more often. Ap rounds are even better non loop runs, cause all dmg is multiplicative, having about 3-4 of these makes the mithrix fight, like 5 times faster if you have other damage items too. Otherwise they are just nice to have, they never are scrap to me unless I see an op printer like goat hooves or energy drink, or mocha.

  You forgot about oddly shaped opal and cautious slug which opal can tank another of damage just with one and cautious slug is really important because medkit gets overshadowed by the fact you have to take damage to get healed and the effect (most of the time) will not outheal the damage caused. But anyways you made a pretty good video!

  nah i didn’t forget and i really do like opal, it’s basically a discount safer spaces but it doesn’t stack amazingly well and i also like cautious slug, its probably the best white healing item and better than medkit but id still usually rather have most of the other items on the list. thanks for watching and the feedback!

  Shield Generator is also really good imo, it stacks somewhat well and shield regens (almost) instantly after not taking damage for a few seconds, also it can make barrier (from aegis, topaz brooch, or loader's passive) go a bit farther, aka more barrier. Good video 👍

  hey thanks for watching the video and for the comment! i definitely agree that the benefits of shields are quite nice, but i would also argue that doesn’t necessarily make PSG very good. a full health bar of shield (i.e. from transcendence) works really well like you described, but you’d need a lot of PSGs to get the same benefits. it’s still not terrible tho and i think it can really help out early game
