Gus was extremely calculating and the only thing that got him killed was his ego and I believe to be pride in winning his battles. His number one battle being against Hector Salamanca and the second priority to that being Walter White.

Teddy was a very underrated villain. He's like the realistic Homelander. He's the hero of his own story. But he doesn't care about the well-being of those he professes to protect.

The way franklin telling Lee all that money Lee saved up was his is just crazy smh. Lee already gave him 500k. Then he wanted more smh, Frankie, walking around, thinking he could just demand someones money just shows how bad greed can fck someone's mind up. Louie basically did the same. She ruined the whole operation by going behind Franklin back to cut him out the deal and expected Franklin to eventually just have to accept it, is just crazy to me

I think you missed some points you made it sound like Franklin just become ruthless for no r wson you didn't mention how teddy killed his father and Franklin let it slide especially when his mother wanted to go to war over it even getting g the KGB involved ...there many factors you fail to mention but you're spot on most of it but the fact he was doing it to be vindictive that isn't the case for 73 mil wed all go to that point where we'd do the unspeakable...I don't gaf about who say id take the L and leave with 800k...he was out he didn't care about fear and respect it was about the fact he was done and ready to let them have it all and they took what he built and acquired after all the money he made for them after ducking fed cases and charges doing the time he did f Franklin was playing chess in a checkers type world

We think that because We see Batman's training regiment and perhaps a line from Alfred saying things like, "Every day Master Bruce. Must we wake at 5 every single day just because you want a spotter for your bench press?" that, that's "Batman's training regimen" (As Example). The Reality Is: There Is No Batman Training Regimen. It's totally Fluid. Constantly changing. He doesn't think, "What would Batman do?" or "How do I control myself to focus on being Batman?" He Says, "I'm Batman" and What Is He Doing? "Being Batman" If You Asked Batman, "Is what you're doing self improvement?" He Would Say, "No" *J Wisdom's Art of Self Improvement - Inspired By: Batman

See the reason why Franklin was so easily able to read the act from Teddy, was because he could directly relate to sense of controlling. Franklin also believed everyone who benefited from rock was in his debts. The whole plot is really deep.

This show had lots of Easter eggs. When talking about channeling energy, an image of Gervonte Davis appears. Not only is Davis from west Baltimore, but the Boxing coach Cuddyvwas based off his coach Calvin Ford.

something really unique that this show does is convey how psychedelics can genuinely make you see everything in your life in a different light for better or for worse. in franklins case, for the better. franklin was actually beginning to understand the way his family felt after the wedding and probably would've made the effort to make everyone feel like equals. too bad louie was just as much of a control freak as teddy was.

For Jamie it’s more about survival than anything else the Business and aggression comes from the survival instinct He wants to provide for his brothers and ensure they’re kept away from any negativity on the streets as they’ve already suffered with the loss of their parents His way of grieving is to live up to his promises to his parents to take care of the brothers in the only way he can and he took the route of earning off the streets to get that income & security as quickly as he could - he didn’t have time to study like his brothers he needed stability, security & structure there and then

Actually thommy treats his family like shit. That he provide for his family is only an excuse for his ambition and his coping mechanism to deal with is mental health issues. His wife dies because of his dangerous life style. His brother john dies because of it, polly dies, who is like a mother for him. He kills his cousin micheal. His sister ada gets nearly killed and raped several times because of his actions. His brother finn gets excluded from the family. He broke the heart of his second wife lizzy and he isn't a good dad for his own son, who prefer to live with his stepmum instead of him. He treats lizzy like shit. He promise her to tell her the truth about him, but at the end he did not and tells no one about his deadly illness and wants to die alone without them knowing. He also treats arthur like shit.

You’ve summed this up pretty well especially with regards to how Sully became the way he did I can say this as someone who has worked with people with serious mental health conditions with DSM-5 Diagnoses and as someone who’s father was a sociopath I think that’s what hit hardest about this coverage is that definition used was on point with the character I’ve gone through 8 years of therapy to manage my CPTSD and it’s not easy living the way you’ve described (I’ve not killed and wasn’t a drug dealer) I was conditioned to be a remorseless killer growing up and experienced various trauma relating to it - that scene on the boat where Sully was saying about going back down that path was on point that was the real breaker for him to say goodbye to his empathetic side Luckily I have a wife that has supported me through hell and I went the other way no idea if you’ll see this but just wanted to say well done 👍

Great video! The one part where I have to disagree is ghost being responsible for Rena’s death. That was 100% Tariq’s fault. Ghost may have had his selfish side but he did truly love his children, Tariq included. And that was demonstrated by the fact that his love and support of Tariq never wavered, no matter what he did. Even when Tariq started to exude pure hatred for him he still showed love and understanding and tried to reason with him, instead of turning to force or violence which he easily could have done, since he had taken down way tougher and smarter people than Tariq in his time. And ghost did everything he could to shelter them and make sure they had everything he didn’t so they wouldn’t have to do the things that he did. Ghost truly had no choice, Tariq did. And even still ghost saw the game as a means to an end, and the second he was in a position to walk away, he did exactly that or tried to. But outside entities kept dragging him back in. He also did everything he could to try and reason with Tariq when he saw the path he was going down. But still Tariq didn’t listen. He got involved with Kanan (who ghost warned him about) and his associates, then when he got in over his head and ran, they came after him and then he hid like a punk while Rena was shot dead. Ghost definitely contributed to his life and family falling apart. But that one wasn’t on him.

I always saw him as a tragic figure. Initially he wants nothing to do with the family 'business' and Vito wants him clear of it too. It's a desire to protect his family that forces him to get involved, and then the death of his Sicilian wife which tears a chunk off his soul. When Sonny is assassinated, he knows the family is in real trouble, so again he steps in to save his family. The tragedy of course is that whereas Vito did all this whilst preserving his humanity and family, Michael becomes more ruthless and cold, and eventually loses his family. Sonny is assassinated. His father and mother pass away. He has Fredo killed. Connie turns away from him because he's cold, dominating and she suspects he had Fredo murdered. He spurns Tom and wounds him deeply, and he pushes Kate away to the point where his aloof nature and the fact that he's been lying to her whilst having people murdered causes her to leave and eventually take the kids with her. He casts aside his principles in order to save his family, but ends up losing them because of how it changes him, and that's a tragic arc.
