Any tips on painting accuracy?? My pauldrons outlining is so messy, like it goes onto the pauldron or sometimes even the arm. Is that expected to happen and be layered over, or does my accuracy just need improving somehow??

Yeah, didn't make sense to me either. I think leaving the ink between the middle coils would've read much brighter, at the end the surrounding are looks the same as the coil recesses. Otherwise it looks good.

For those just scrolling. This technique is called slap chop. Just google it and you’ll see the whole process. It’s a great way for those who are new to produce great looking table ready models. Highly recommend.
I'm wokring on a unit that has a lot of gold and the thing I just haven't figured out is varnish. Any tips for getting a good clear coat on gold metallics paints without ruining the shine and color?

Nice, i find also adding a gloss like ardcoat helps it to have more of a glow to it
