TYSM 😭 Im cancelling my appt with BMW now 😂
My 2022 M5 Competition drive mode pop-up is annoying but I don't see the same option as yours to turn it off inside the pop-up menu. Sucks! Another annoying thing is that the car doesn't remember your last setting. For example, I drive in sport mode every time I get in the car, yet each time I have to push the damn drive mode button. WTF BMW? At least give me the option to enable the mode I want as default. If a BMW engineer is reading this, please add this feature to your next Firmware release.

How do you set up a second driver profile? I don’t want another BMW ID or use another key. I just want to add another driver profile. I either drive the car on my own or if my girlfriend is with me we might share the driving. She never drives it on her own. Therefore there is no desire to carry 2 keys and she doesn't want her own BMW ID. Surely it can't be difficult to just add another driver profile!
When the X5 has recorded a path (either backwards or forwards) and you tell it to follow one of those paths, will it stop automatically if it sees an object? Like if someone else is in your space or if someone is standing in front or back of the car, will the car stop or just run into the object? I understand you're supposed to be paying attention so that doesn't happen (!!!) but I want to know if theoretically the automatic safety systems are engaged,

That's true. Some of the premium japanese cars have that auto handbrake when engine is turned off.

Currently driving the 2020 320i Motorsport and after four years of ownership no issues had an E90 and they had problems after 7 years of owning it the gaskets all coolant hoses needed replacing , coils and spark plugs , water pump , thermostat, Fuel Pump , New Brake pads and Rotors all up 3.5k

I just picked my X1 yesterday and waited weeks to get the Blue Bay Lagoon color. It is stunning and looks like the ocean where I live. This video is amazing and answers some of the questions I found in the manual. Yes, I'm a manual user so thank you! I am trying to locate the area for accessories? Canyou tell me again where they are? I did a lot of research on this model and it gets great reviews all around. It has been a few years since having a BMW and I'm thrilled I have another. Biggest secret, my 840d Cab (sexy as f) will get me 850 kms on 1 tank, on trips @ 140kmh, (and still have 50km+ range when filling up.)
how to programme garage door opener, I have a 5 and a 6 Cabrio both have this feature but impossible to get either to work. (Yeah, I have seen vids on how...but no!)

Not that I know of, I would reach out to a dealer to see if they can fix that. Might need new brakes or I would ask another shop to see if they know of brakes that don't squeal.

Great how-to video on factory ordering a BMW. Congrats on yours! I’ve spent the past few months repeatedly “rebuilding” mine on the BMW site, taking test drives, chatting up my BMW salesman and the General Manager. Yesterday, I ordered mine - a 2025 M440i xDrive with leather and all options including Individual paint rosso corsa (Ferrari red). Totally enjoyed the process, dealership gave me 9% below MSRP, but I did bring a dozen Krispy Kream donuts. 😊

Hey there, I've seen on your IDrive menu that you have some Apple CarPlay apps such as google maps. How do you move it there? Its a big hassle switching between apple CarPlay and the Idrive system to access the map or other apps such as KZread music.

That’s a good one to mention, but these days everyone ends up using Apple CarPlay or android auto and when you do that, you cannot program the numbers to work with the shortcut keys since the numbers are uploaded into Apple CarPlay

Bmw warranty is very expensive. Are there any 3rd part good warrant that all the dealers take
