  Very informative video! I will say, be sure to check the contrast of the subtitle background with against text, especially if the background is more than 50% opaque. The main purpose of subtitles is accessibility, and people with low vision, color blindness etc need adequate contrast. I will be the first to always try to be on brand, but accessibility takes priority here.

  I tried this on black text and I got a black glow. How do I make it white? If I change the Glow colors from Original Colors to A & B Colors, the glow disappears altogether. ( I made both the colors A & B white)

  hey! you can turn it on and off in AE :) It's just a layer, basically. so just turn off the (red) layer

  You solved a big problem for me. I had to make Gif for a website. and Media encoder was exporting a very big sized gif file. almost 10.7MBs. and for website it is bad practice to use too much large gif. so I had to optimize it to less than 2MBs. I tried external softwares like Lottie and Bodymovin, but could not get it. external softwares destroyed the shapes while decreasing size. so I had to find a way because it was an office work. and then I found this video after searching different methods whole day. now my gif which I gave to developer was (1920x1080) with 29.97fps and 100% depth, and amazingly size was just 1.76Mb. thank you so much.
