I appreciate this video as it helps to prove what I’ve been saying for years. This is why you don’t need vintage guitars. They don’t sound any different,* aren’t made any better (sometimes worse), and cost ten times more +/-. *It’s worth remembering that each individual guitar of the same exact model sounds ever so slightly different to any other individual guitar of the same exact model but the amount is so minute it’s not worth worrying about….try enough samples of each and many times you won’t even hear it. For the most part the collective variation of each instrument is down to the collective tolerances of the electronics of each instrument. Good guitars are good guitars. If you can afford an old one like it’s nothing, then get it; if you can’t, then get the current version…or whatever version _you_ like. Either way, be happy that you have a wonderful instrument to play.

How does a wide thin neck compare to a fender modern c?
@Harvey0029 күн бұрын
I think it feels a little wider and a little slimmer on the PRS. Both great necks. That’s comparing a tremonti se though I’d imagine this is close if it’s wide thin.

I visited Danville Music last week, and bought two guitars, and was immediately impressed with a wide selection of guitars, amps, pedals, and a staff that provides great customer service, and above all, seem to enjoy being there. It’s sort of a homey atmosphere as opposed to the cold corporate we don’t care vibe of the slowly sinking guitar center. If you are in the market for gear, it’s worth checking out.
