My name is Ryan and I am absolutely not a generational farmer. My wife and I have full time jobs, and very little experience in agriculture, but we want to learn, and share our experience with others who might want to step into this world. You can learn right along with us. We will cover topics like, cattle, chickens, gardening, and fencing. We will also cover the equipment we have, the equipment that we need, and how to maintain it. So, have a seat and let the fun begin.

Thanks for the video! I have a new 2022 3025 D that the dealer just received due to the supply chain issues the last few years. The picture showing the grease fittings on the tractor itself in the JD Manual are not real clear.
Never are. They should have some yellow hieroglyph looking things on the tractor that will point out the grease points
Did you have any issues of your steering wheel shaking or vibrating after installation ?
No I didn't.
Dude idk where you buy blades but I buy Oregon brand mulch blades 2 for 25$ on line
Do you have a link as I can’t find these thanks, also what tractor are you using please? This could be what I’m looking for.
Can I put my cows on a acer a week I have 5
Acers
You can. It would be considered mob grazing. Just make sure that you watch how much of the grass they are eating. You want them to consume about a third of the blade length, and then move them to the next acre. You also want to make sure you allow enough time between grazing and rest periods. Depending on rain you want to try for 3 times the amount of rest to graze, roughly.
Husqvarna Yth22V46 22-HP V-twin Hydrostatic 46-in Riding Lawn Mower.. my is to much accelerate. do u know why??
No, Sorry I don't. Maybe have a shop look at the hydrostatic engagement.
I love the selfie cam from your boy 🤣 great video
Thank you, he loved doing it!
Thank you for talking candidly about this as my wife and I are wanting to get into a organic…poison free livestock/gardening/ combine with tourist vacation rental venture at some point in a 3 or 4 year time span. We have been researching different channels Joel S, Greg J, Justin R, Living Trad…..etc…all shared experiences are tremendously helpful. We will be at homesteader’s of America conference in Va come October….hope goes well at your new setup in OK….ps, my son just graduated basic in Lawton! (the prairie is surprisingly absolutely beautiful)…all the best.
Things are going fantastic in OK!! Another resource you should reach out to is your local NRCS office. They offer a lot of programs that will help or out and out pay for some projects.
Thanks for the video. I have a 2021 3025e, and this helps. They removed the 50 hour service from the manual, but probably best to do it anyway. Looks about the same as the service you just did. Also, I did not know about that trunion zerk--thanks!
I didn't know about that zerk either. I was told the old tractors had it, and I figured I better look. Thanks for the view, and glad it helped.
I went looking for steering column information and watched a cute little boy be the video! Informative but not quite what I was looking for. Though, glad I watched it all.
Glad you enjoyed it, sorry it wasn't what you were looking for. Thanks for the view.
Is that rubber tubing 1/2" inside diameter or outside diameter? Thanks!
It's been a minute since I did that, but if I recall it was 1/2" ID.
"Adulting" lol favorite part
Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for the view.
I’m a small engine mechanic and a better way to unplug your grease zerts are to heat them up a bit with butane torch it will loosen the grease easier and won’t scar the ball like scraping it does and also balancing the blades is easy the balancers are cheap and can save your bearings on the deck which are way more expensive than a two dollar balancer
That is definitely good info. I will for sure use the heat trick. Thank you.
HELP please. I & my brother put newe spindle on the Husqvarna yta 18542 but it leaves an unmowed stripe on the inner cut. Left spindle blade is untouched and normal, new spindle outer side mows same height as the "old" spindle, but the inner blade doesn't seem to be touching at all. HELP please.
How many cows do you have pal.?? Is that a 6 acre square or rectangle block?? Why don't you move the water with your tractor when you move the cows to another block.??
At the time of the video I only had 3 maybe 5, I don't recall exactly. I have actually since moved to Ok for a larger piece of land. I am up to 10 mama Longhorns, and 12 commercial angus mamas. I didn't move the water, because the following week I set up a center water point that was run off of the well. Unfortunately didn't film that.
You liking those pigtail post so far?
The pigtails are fantastic! The only complaint that I have is that if the ground gets hard, they WILL bend trying to put them in. These were fairly cheap, and there might be better options available.
Sorry if I missed it, is there a link to this product? Thanks!
The price appears to have gone up, but this should get you where you are going. www.amazon.com/Bestauto-Attachment-Stabilizer-Receiver-Gooseneck/dp/B0849NFM9H/ref=sr_1_7?crid=3TJIVUPYUSUGB&dchild=1&keywords=3pt+bale+spear&qid=1624386810&sprefix=3+pt+bale%2Caps%2C204&sr=8-7
That is absolute BS, that’s not a service, we charge $350 but you get Pick up from anywhere within two hours $10 each way Deck off, scraped clean Rust proofed Spindles checked Oil + filter change Transmission pullies checked and belts checked Deck pullies checked and top of the deck clean not like your heap of shit Blades sharpened and balanced Tire pressures set Air filter clean or replaced Deck refit and leveled Full grease Test mowed Steam cleaned Delivered
Sounds like a great deal. Good luck
@@walkingrfarms3847 Respect for taking the high road! I appreciate your video! Logan Middlemass managed to brag about doing basic maintenance and insulted a stranger providing a free service on the internet for absolutely no reason. I would never hire someone like that.
@@walkr7998 thank you. Hope the vid helped a little.
You didn't balance out the blades so I bet it shakes with you turn them on
Never had an issue. I actually still have it. Bout to sell it though. No need for it anymore.
Had this mower for 5 years and I've never had to balance out my blades except for one time when I hit a really nasty stump and just ended up replacing the blades. The only vibration I've ever gotten has been from deck belt wear.
Be careful trying to move a trailer loaded with hay or whatever with your new purchase and that small tractor. A lot of weight pushing you.
No doubt about it. I always moved slow, and never more than a few hundred feet. It worked for what I was doing, but you are absolutely correct.
I saw a rancher who used pex water lines to fill automatic Waters you may want to look into that may be easier to just switch a valve to different paddocks good luck and nice video can't wait to see how it all works out for you.
Or you could put your water in the center and cut your paddocks like pizza slices
That is actually what I did a short time later. Hooked PE pipe up to my well. Worked like a champ. Great minds think alike.
Good morning. How many head do you run on the 6 acres average? Good video btw keep it up, Greg Judy is very informative as well good luck to your operation.
On the 6 acres I had I only ran about 5 on average. What that means is that throughout the year my counts might go above five, and sometimes drop below. Usually I was around 5. I did have to supplement with some hay, and a little cube though.
thanks much. Very simple and direct. Easy to understand.
Glad you liked it. Thanks for the view
Thank you very much! Do you think you could do a video of all the grease points you know of? I want to make sure I don’t miss any.
Sure nuff. I have a video coming out on the my pickup this week, but I can throw an update on the grease points for ya. Thanks for the view and comment!
Just FYI. I'm going to do something a little more fun than a quick blurb in my next video to answer your question. Stay tuned.
Walking R Farms thank you very much!!! Much appreciated!
❤️❤️❤️
The look on your face when the hail comes is priceless lol
I was less than happy. I was listening to my poor ol truck get the fire beat out of it.
Guessing it was half dollar sized huh
I would've had the same look
But hey at least you had your little ranch hand with ya too help with the shop
It was nickle sized.
Ranch hand Ryder is so strong!
That kiddo, is my hero. He just knows how to do stuff, and I look like Jim Carey from Ace Ventura, in a TooToo
Omg did you just grab that?!?! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
I absolutely did. It didnt really hurt that bad at first, but after a second or 2 my joints started to ache like I just finished a brutal ruck march.
That'll wake ya up
It most certainly did. I may have peed a little. 7,000 volts
@@walkingrfarms3847 Did ya check the back end too make sure it wasn't just pee

Those are some big weird dogs
They are kind of a big weird dog, with horns. Oh, and they eat more. Oh, and WAY bigger poo, but basically the same. JK, thank you for the view

Miss you too man!!
When do the cows show up!?!
The next video, will feature our new bovine friends. Should be out in a couple of days.
Correction, I was just informed by our editing team (Me) that there is 1 more video, then cows.
