This was back before mandated masks or vaccines right in the thick of it. I went out to pick up some food. It was pretty contagious back in May of 2020, didn’t take much to catch it unfortunately.

@@pc24681 I had it most of that year, it was the time of the long haul stuff. I had crazy symptoms from May of 2020 through august. I could have fought it twice but the tests were a bit finicky back then too. I have made a full recovery. My heart rate still gets elevated when I get a cold much higher than it did before Covid. Tachycardia was one of my first symptoms.

@@iamjasonthompson Glad that you have made a full recovery 🙏🏽 Also I used N-95 mask which is the best mask for protection. Some mask isn’t effective in preventing covid unfortunately. I am still practicing safety precautions even though the CDC has lifted the mask mandates. Lots of people are getting Covid twice unfortunately I am not letting my guard down! Pray-that you will not get Covid again 🙏🏽 Is Covid similar than the FLU?

@@pc24681 Glad you’re still keeping away from it. It probably compares more to the flu now than it did in 2020. The original strain was WAAAY more aggressive than the flu. But viral load made cases vary gravely, I ended up in the ER with pneumonia, others just had bad Flu like symptoms. People like to say “its just like the flu” but that’s not a good thing either, the Flu kills as well. Not to push fear or anything but, comparing it to the flu isn’t very useful.

Hi Severe unfortunately. I had Covid pneumonia pretty bad in my right lung. Pain put me in the ER twice. The strains since then seem to be less severe thankfully. I hope you’re well!

Yep full recovery. The lung that got it started still feels funny from time to time and my sense of smell seemed reduced. But no major health issues

Hey thanks for checking it out. Yes the conditioner is all I use. There’s no epoxy ok this one but I like the natural feel. You’re a supposed to keep conditioning it regularly, I haven’t been great about it and it still looks fine. I wanted a non glossy look. Otherwise I would have went with the ikea Karlby or whatever, years later I’m not having any issues with the countertop! Good luck with your build

No, because I didn't want that shiny look. I'm still using this today and I love the finish. I do have to be careful and not put cold or hot drinks on it, but you have to do that anyway. I wanted a 'natural' wood matte look and feel. If it gets too dry or ashy I apply the conditioner i mentioned in the vid.

@@OscarsAGrouch nothing new. On it I don’t do anything heavy duty on it. Just tech on the desk mostly. So you’re supposed to apply the conditioner like once a week for a month then once a month for a year or something like that. I’ve applied it like 4 times randomly while cleaning over the last few years. I haven’t had any issues. If you get a darker wood like European walnut , you won’t even need a stain.

Most companies REQUIRE a degree for most of their positions. Without it you just can't get in. Period. It's a primitive way of weeding people out because there are SO many applicants for most job openings. They often don't even care what the degree is, so a degree isn't useless. It opens doors.

Replacing my old monolithic desk for one of these two. Really interested in your desktop would finishing. Since I sit at my desk 10 to 12 hours a day I don't want to smell fumes or have any oily gunk on my arms. The butcher block conditioner is still working your you?

It is actually. I don’t reapply it nearly as much as I should but the finish on the block is fine and hasn’t gotten too dry despite my negligence. The wood drinks up the conditioner and you Have a dry odorless workspace. I wanted a matte actual “wood” feel and it’s still holding up.

Me and my husband tested positive over the weekend my husband had it worse than me he has COPD as well I never want this virus I felt helpless bc I couldn't help my husband and that took emotionally told on me I had separate attack bc of being without my husband now I have panic attack when I sit outside even if it only for an hour my OCD is the worst bc I panic if something not cleaned I hate feeling like I'm losing control of my surroundings

She didn’t. We’ll I’m not sure if it was just fatigue from doing EVERYTHING while I was down but she got slightly I’ll after I broke quarantine. At that point my entire house was isolating so we didn’t test. She never got anything as bad as my case. 🙏🏾❤️ Get well soon! I’m glad the strains these days seem to be much less severe.

Most companies REQUIRE a degree for most of their positions. Without it you just can't get in. Period. It's a primitive way of weeding people out because there are SO many applicants for most job openings. They often don't even care what the degree is, so a degree isn't useless. It opens doors.
Yes it’s very primitive. Because in my experience it can get the least qualified candidate a position solely on a technicality. I can’t remember if I mentioned this in the video but yes… it was a golden ticket to a job. For that … it works. Thanks for checking out the content Joe

Replacing my old monolithic desk for one of these two. Really interested in your desktop would finishing. Since I sit at my desk 10 to 12 hours a day I don't want to smell fumes or have any oily gunk on my arms. The butcher block conditioner is still working your you?
It is actually. I don’t reapply it nearly as much as I should but the finish on the block is fine and hasn’t gotten too dry despite my negligence. The wood drinks up the conditioner and you Have a dry odorless workspace. I wanted a matte actual “wood” feel and it’s still holding up.
There is a resemblance, but you look better better than Ja. I never found Ja attractive. I find you attractive. 💁🏾♂️😂

Me and my husband tested positive over the weekend my husband had it worse than me he has COPD as well I never want this virus I felt helpless bc I couldn't help my husband and that took emotionally told on me I had separate attack bc of being without my husband now I have panic attack when I sit outside even if it only for an hour my OCD is the worst bc I panic if something not cleaned I hate feeling like I'm losing control of my surroundings
It took a while before I was comfortable in public spaces. All I can say is that it does get easier… I wish you a fast and healthy recovery

I am covid positive day 2 of symptoms. Glad to see your doing ok. What about your wife? Did she get sick too?
She didn’t. We’ll I’m not sure if it was just fatigue from doing EVERYTHING while I was down but she got slightly I’ll after I broke quarantine. At that point my entire house was isolating so we didn’t test. She never got anything as bad as my case. 🙏🏾❤️ Get well soon! I’m glad the strains these days seem to be much less severe.
