The drama shows what happens when a family lives with lies. Nothing good. Here, the chairwoman decides not to tell FL about her dad situation -- that who she thought was her dad was not her biological dad, and that her biological dad harmed her adoptive dad. In addition, the chairwoman cruelly sent away the innocent FL because, she told herself, this would lead to a happy life for the young woman. Wow. So wrong. What the chairwoman did to the FL brought the FL to the brink of death. She felt unloved, worthless, angry, betrayed -- and she ended up in the cruel grasp of deep depression. So I think the moral of the story is: stop lying about things. Speak truth. As you sort through the truth, it alone can bring freedom from evil. Forgive. Be determined to love. In my life, there were the evil deeds done by my parents, truly evil. As long as they were hidden, the harm continued to multiply. Once they were brought out into the open, healing began. People were held accountable, and because of that, they were able to change. Wish the chairwoman had known to do this, and then supported and loved the young FL as she worked her way through it.

The only thing that heals and sets people free is truth. Mother and son now see what they did to FL -- especially the mom. I still don't understand why the mom rejected FL so much, so fiercely, so unrelentingly. FL actress is amazing at capturing the despair, hatred, confusion, sense of being betrayed to unbelievable levels by the people she had every right to expect love and support from. I love that she's not tried to kill herself, which is a common trope in such dramas. I hope she continues to battle through these terrible emotions of depression -- depression is a very painful and difficult thing to endure. I hope she feels hope again. Waiting to see how.

Caption off as usual. She was not married, so how could she have an ex-husband? Also, her dad had been wealthy. Wonder if he left her an inheritance when he died. Doesn't seem like it. So I'm not sure she can be considered to be wealthy.

Sheesh. The ML's mom is a trip. She's the one deceiving her son by keeping what truly happened from him, and now she says he's been deceiving her all these years by being obedient to her. He's simply asking her to tell him what happened. If she's innocent, well, then why not tell.
