I had several on me just in the last two weeks. Only one managed to dig in. I sprayed krown rust spray on it. He wasn't long letting go. Within two seconds he was in reverse !!!

thank you. i;m about to book my young burmese in for his first professional clean. to my understanding though the cat must be sedacted for a proper clean... what is an ideal dental cloean routine i can follow to help ensure im giving him the best care without 2 sedation visits each year?

This was terrible advice, it’s what the LAW says in your city and county! Most city allow 2-3 dog/cats per 1/4 acre lot, but people with this many pet only care about pets and not their neighbors they affect which is why it’s not normal.

Letting your cats outside is not only dangerous for your cat (cars, predators, even pesticides) it is also a huge problem for local wildlife (cats are very efficient hunters and can really harm local bird populations, etc.) Outdoor cats can also be a nuisance to those of us who have indoor cats. I used to have a neighbor who let their cat out and it would stalk our windows and give our indoor cat a near heart attack and wake up early in the morning until the city stepped in and intervened. It is your cat and your responsibility that it is not a nuisance to the surrounding area.

There is no way in the world my cat ( or most cats) would ever sit there so calmly while you wiped their eyes much less hold still for eye drops or slowing squeezing eye ointment. Their head would be twisting and jerking around! This cat is either sedated or very very unnaturally well behaved. Totally unrealistic for most cat owners!

I personally think indoor cats are the way to go, in my area there is tons of house cats (not feral) roaming around, and they have started to lower the population of some endangered animals and endemic animals, this is a huge problem for native ecosystems as many of these species are keystone species, if you want to let your cat outside don’t let it free as they are killing machines, just look at what’s happening in Australia, so get a catio or something don’t let it roam without supervision.

Everybody always thinks about what’s best for the cat. Like they’re the only ones that matter. Truth is that there are other people and animals on this planet. You have to think about them too. If you’re going to have a cat as a pet then YOU are responsible for that pet. You are not being responsible letting your pet roam the neighborhood while everyone is asleep. While we’re all sleeping that pet of yours has likely pissed or crapped in someone else’s planter or garden. Trampled their flowers. Scratched on something important and surely walked all over the hood of somebody’s car. They are probably also being hunted by coyotes which kind attracts more coyotes. It’s YOUR pet. Be responsible and respect other people around you or don’t cry when your cat doesn’t come home one night.
