I have a cub cadet Zt1 mower that I enjoy using I just wish it was faster. I mow about 5 acres a week with it just my personal property. It’s really asking a lot from it. These are not commercial zero turns and it always makes me chuckle when people buy them to mow several lawns and aren’t happy with them. I’m currently looking to sell mine for a new scag or spartan, just because they will mow twice as quickly saving me time and cutting my hour usage. For the small home owner these Zt1 mowers are a great cost affordable option but definitely should not be used in any type of business setting.

  • @coconutjo9780

I totally understand. I bought it to cut my personal 3 leveled acres which isn’t a problem for a mower ZT1 “if everything works as it should”. Best wishes on the sell and future purchase!!

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with your mower. I'm sure it won't make you feel any better about it, but for the benefit of others with earlier comments expressing concern their experience may also be eventually negative, I will offer mine. I purchased the exact same model (Home Depot) spring 2023 to replace a 42" cut Craftsman (made by Cub Cadet) lawn tractor that wasn't really a good match for the bigger lawn at my new home. I mowed my "new" 1.5 acre lawn 37 times that entire summer and into the fall and so far nine times this year with no significant issues at all. The Kawasaki engine is impressive, it cuts well, and it's easy to handle and service. I wish it had an hour meter like my Craftsman did, but it's not hard to keep notes on things, so that's not a big deal. All in all, I'm totally pleased with it. I'd recommend one to my best friend, and I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

It is public but there are resorts on both sides of it. There’s only about 120 yards of public lounging area. This development and Dominicus is 3 miles from Bayahibe. I actually think this project is about sold out already. People like each place for their own reasons but I chose Bayahibe. Best thing about both is that they are so close to each other.

I won a zt 54” in a raffle drawing last year and it has been a good one so far. The only thing I’ve ever won in my life and I’m happy with mine so far. It has the Koehler engine and the fabricated deck. I wouldn’t have bought one myself. I gave my old 30” rear engine to my son when I got this cub cadet. Did you replace the stock blade when you got it and make it nice and sharp? Blade speed is relative, the blade is what creates air lift and blows it out the shoot. Blades make more of a difference than the deck. I had no issues after installing 8Ten blades on my LAWA ZT1 and I've been mowing like 30 inch high natural prairie grass that's never been mowed. It takes a few extra passes but that's expected. Mowing my planted Kentucky Bluegrass lawn, it's perfect. That was the first thing I did. Then removed the pully guards.

Hey brother always love your videos, and this one is very timely! As I write this I’m laying in a hospital bed in Las Terrenas with a lung infection. I’m in my second and hopefully last day of intravenous antibiotics injections. Me and my wife have traveled here many times over the past 10 years, she has family here being of Dominion heritage by way of NY. We decided to move permanently from California and landed 10 days ago. We have a long term rental and we’re loving it. After we arrived I started feeling soreness in my throat and ear, and later developed a nagging cough that persisted for several days. Finally I decided to go the ER and they confirmed my diagnosis. Luckily two days prior I got an international health insurance policy 😊. I believe I contracted it from someone on the flight over. It’s a very contagious airborne virus. The last time here I got really bad diarrhea, but I think I inadvertently drink tap water taking my meds. However I’ve had two other buddies who came over with us on two separate occasions and both got sick! The first got a case of Diverticulitis and was hospitalized for two days and flew back to the states. The other was here with his wife for a 10 day stay but noticed heavy blood in his urine on day 3. It got progressively worse and he too flew back. Joe I too am a positive person and subscribe to manifesting thoughts into reality. So I’m going to take this as my DR initiation 😂 or as my friend put it “I guess that was America’s one last chance to stick it to you on the way out.”LOL Stay safe and thanks for sharing!
